"My first visit to Dongjiang Lake was in June. I spotted a beautiful building across from the scenic area and, curious enough, went to check it out. It had been renovated but wasn't open yet. This time, I happened to have the opportunity to visit Xiaodongjiang again with my family. I saw this hotel on the hotel list and booked it without hesitation. Overall, my stay was excellent and exceeded my expectations. 1. Cleanliness: This new hotel was spotless, with no signs of wear and tear. The room was odorless, and they even provided an air purifier. 2. Aesthetics: The hotel is located on the banks of the Dongjiang River, offering a breathtaking view of the lake and distant mountains. The ground floor and outdoor areas are also well-designed, perfect for relaxing and taking photos, creating a unique scene with every step. Furthermore, the large public areas, including the lobby bar and swimming pool, offer minimal traffic and a high degree of privacy. During my entire stay, I rarely encountered other guests. 3. Service: Excellent, with requests addressed promptly. 4. Activities: There are activities like Song Dynasty tea tasting and river boat rides, perfect for families. 5. Food: Since we only have 40-50 guests per day, the breakfast area is relatively small and the selection is limited, but the quality is acceptable. The meat dishes and freshly squeezed juices are standard for a hotel. 6. Some details, like the balcony bathtub and the children's care kits, are also nice. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will return."

"The room was spacious, and the public areas were definitely worth the price. The photo op spot on the second floor was also a nice touch. We drove there, and parking was very convenient. When we used the bath, they proactively asked if we needed a bath liner, and they provided real, large towels (I'm so fed up with some B&Bs and hotels that only offer disposable ones). The complimentary breakfast was tasty, and if you weren't full, you could order another bowl of noodles for free. It was raining when we left, and the front desk staff specifically came out to offer me an umbrella. I told her we were leaving and wouldn't take it since we couldn't return it, but she said it was fine and not to get wet. Absolutely wonderful. Warm winter sun [Tea around the stove]: Tasted good. [Souvenir gift] Specialty Dongjiang small dried fish: They gave us a big bag, which saved me from having to buy souvenirs myself. Excellent. [Warm and attentive personal butler] Butler service: Very thoughtful."

"This hotel is in a good location, halfway up the mountain and relatively quiet at night. The lake view room I stayed in was on the fourth floor with a wide view and a great view of the lake. See the attached picture. There is another inn next to it where you can order food and have free breakfast with our coupon. It is only 400 meters away from the small square of the "Five Islands and One Village" resort next to Bailang Pier, which is convenient for eating and taking a boat. There are tables and chairs on the balcony, which are comfortable to sit on and are more conducive to viewing the lake and mountains. The room is very hygienic and all disposable toiletries are provided. The slight drawback is that the quilt is too thick, and the air conditioning effect is relatively insufficient, so I had to take out the cotton core and only cover it with the quilt cover to cool down."
