"Apart from the spectacular sightings of cheetahs, lions, lion cubs, black & white rhino, elephants, Crimson breasted shrike and the list goes on. We had a fantastic time at Rhulani. We were welcomed by the Signature welcome wave every single time we went out and came back. Our guide, James, the best we ever experienced on a game drive, added a personal touch by remembering stories everyone told. He had an inclusive approach by making sure every single one on the game vehicle gets to see what they asked to see. Being conscious of birdwatchers and non-birdwatchers and making the experience pleasant for all. James has a passion for what he does and our drives were knowledgeable and fun. The staff at Rhulani, all Friendly and professional. Nosa, your warmth and sincere personality made us feel extra welcome. I can mention so many more names, but everyone was very kind. The boma dinner was a highlight ending with Willem& Tom’s marshmallows on s’mores. The food was good too. As South Africans, We go on lots of safaris but the friendly staff & everyone greeting each other on the Madikwe roads are something that stood out for me. It makes the experience so pleasant & relaxing. You meet other friends on these tours just by being indulged in the relaxing experience of this lodge. We will definitely visit them again and highly recommend this for your next stay."

Last Word Madikwe

"We have just returned from an incredible trip to Last Word Madikwe. I have been on safari in South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Botswana and was blown away by the intimate experience the lodge's onsite, underground hide affords guests. The hide is accessible to guests all day and night and with the lodge only having a max of 12 guests, we often had it all to ourselves. Every night we watched rhino drink at water level and during the day we delighted in seeing the elephants up close as they swept their trunks close to the entrance of the hide. It was truly unforgettable. The lawns of the lodge also look over one of the park's oldest waterhole, which results in a steady parade of all species coming into full view to drink -- throughout the day and night. For several hours between game drives we could relax on the lawns and watch the wildlife interact with one another without their behaviour being disturbed. Out on drive we saw a cheetah kill, at least 10 rhino, elephant, the rare brown hyena and lion. We cannot wait to go back, this time taking more family members with us!"

Vi så elefanter, giraffer, hyena, sort og hvid rhino, zebra, impala, og efter Elliotts manglende evne til at give op, Lions! Kunne ikke anbefale Motswiri nok, lille og meget personlig indkvartering med en ægte busk følelse, men luksus og mad til at dø for, stor skrig ud til kokkene AMERICANT."

Impodimo, how magical it was watching the sky come alive during a sunrise or sunset...those shifting shades of gold, pink, orange and fire, reminding us to slow down and take it all in, and appreciate the moment. Impodimo, how we loved watching the wild animals roam freely in their natural habitat and sometimes getting so close that we could see the giraffes long eye lashes and the wrinkles on the elephants skin and the moment the lions powerful roar gave us goosebumps.
