"Jeg kom der på lørdag og checkede tidligt.Hotellet ligger omkring 5 minutter fra byen.Alt turist er bogstaveligt talt der.Receptionisten var meget venlig.Liften arbejdede en behandling, og personalet omkring hotellet var venligt og velkommen. Morgenmaden var stor, og fa t du vælger, hvilken tidsslot du vil gøre hele processen effektiv.Vi havde værelset på tredje sal og havde en hakke på taget, som havde en stor udsigt til floden og det omgivende område. Området er fyldt med butikker og spisesteder, du ikke vil have noget problem med en række køkkener.Hotellet har en bar og serverer mad daglig menu - var fristet, men desværre gik vi ud hver nat til middag.Højt anbefalede dette hotel."

On returning to the hotel after parking was informed by another guest that there was a QR code at the car park which you could use as part of the hotel? We ended up paying almost £40 for parking for one night stay. Anyone booking please check with reception regards where the QR is"

"Location good for City, plenty of buses close by. Room clean and warm ( much needed as it was frosty ) when we booked we got a really good deal. Rooms are big airy and very clean. The hotel is ideal as it has the pub joining on so no need to travel to eat. Finally I will give a shout out to the staff, they are very pleasant and accomodating, nothing is too much trouble. "The hotel rooms are quite run down especially where we were right at the back Room 45. We had no remote to use the Air Conditioning during the hottest days we’ve had this year. Went to reception and they said someone would be with us in 15 minutes. Waiting 45 but we had a restaurant booking in the city so could not wait around. Water in the shower randomly goes scolding hot .  Not a hotel I’d return to unfortunately which is a shame because most other Doubletree hotels I’ve stayed in have been great."

"We’ve stayed at Delta Hotels York multiple times now, and it continues to be a fantastic choice every single visit. This was our 6th stay, and once again, it was a solid 10/10 experience. The hotel is always spotless—super clean and tidy throughout—which makes a big difference the moment you walk in. The room service is top-notch, and everything feels well thought out and well maintained. We especially appreciated the welcoming amenities in the room, including a great selection of coffee and the Ninja coffee pod machine, which was a lovely touch. The rooms and bathrooms are impressively spacious, with plenty of room to relax comfortably. It never feels cramped, which really adds to the overall experience. The staff are consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful, making every stay smooth and enjoyable. Another big plus for us is the leisure facilities—the jacuzzi and pool are a great bonus and perfect for unwinding. On top of that, the on-site parking is safe, convenient, and reasonably priced, which is one of the main reasons we keep choosing this hotel when visiting York. Overall, a reliable and welcoming place that never disappoints. We’ll definitely be back again."
