In late autumn, golden leaves carpet the path leading to Bingling Residence, and the reservoir scenery changes with every step, making it a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The hospitable and simple mountain host lit a fireplace for us and brought us delicious food. Without the noise of a television, we enjoyed the peaceful moments of chatting around the fire. The view from the window is breathtaking. As night falls, the twinkling lights of fishing boats reflect on the water like fallen stars, promising a peaceful night's sleep after the autumn rain. The wabi-sabi style decor and minimalist aesthetics are evident in every detail. The daybed by the window is ideal for tea and reading, while the large, high-quality wooden table and small side table exude a natural feel. The flickering fire in the fireplace will stir your thoughts. A few suggestions for the host: 1. Although there is no television, could you please provide a Bluetooth speaker so that music can permeate every corner of the room? 2. Could some Go sets be placed on the tea table so that guests can pass the time?"

Unfortunately, check-in was like traveling halfway around the world, as all of our passports had to be copied five times, and we had to fill out the full additional information program for each individual. I'll never understand when that's necessary in China, and when a quick glance at a passport is enough. The staff took big efforts to make our stay as pleasant as possible; the fireworks on the terrace were great fun for the kids. Dinner and breakfast are brought to your room. Bingling Temple is a recommended nearby attraction."
