"We stayed at the walnut tree for 1 night on return from Cornwall to S Wales. After reading some very negative reviews we were a little concerned. I am very pleased to say the room was very clean , sheets were crisp and clean , the shower room was spotless and the room itself was very comfortable. We booked the double bed with sofa bed. "The staff treated me badly after coming out of a domestically violent relationship saying in sarcastic voices and pretending to cry as they said awwee shed been abused ! Then lying to management about this incident. I got asked to leave and the staff remain . I will be reporting them all to the police so they can investigate it all. . I would not recommend this hotel"

"Nice hotel just outside of town centre. Perfect for visiting Montacute House and yeovil Town centre. Lots of retail parks close by. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order, second day bacon a bit to crispy for my liking, but otherwise good. Evening meal selection very limited, and a bit restricted if you wanted something plain or light. We only ate one evening."

The Terrace Lodge Hotel

"The hotel is close to shops, walking distance to bus station, comfy bed and pillows. Great and helpful staff. My only concern is the plastic cup inside the toilet underneath the edges of the lid part is so filthy and the towel has some stains."

"This was a nice guest room above a lively bar/restaurant. Ensuite bathroom, comfy bed, smart TV (need your own account if you want to watch Netflix, iPlayer, etc), and WiFi. Town centre and Yeovil Park are within walking distance (luckily the roadworks had pedestrian access). If you're exploring the wider Somerset, a car is required. No breakfast provided sadly (I went to Morrisons for cooked breakfast and Lidl for continental, both ~5 minutes away), but they have good lunch/evening food which they can take up to your room."

"We had our wedding there in May. The location and grounds are gorgeous, well maintained and stunning on the day. From the day we booked, Dylan, was so professional, helpful, and accommodating, and on the wedding day we couldn't of asked for anything better. Dylan and all the staff were wonderful. The finger buffet was delicious, the chef also catered for some guests that were Celiac's and gluten free. We had so many compliments about the food and the hotel. We had quite a few guests stay overnight, we all met up in the morning for breakfast. What a wonderful weekend we all had. Thank you so much."
