"This is my first time writing a detailed review, and I even took photos to warn others. I booked two twin rooms for a family trip with seniors. First, the good points: the hotel's garden view is nice, and a young lady proactively helped with our luggage when we arrived – then immediately started pushing tour guides and tea. 🙈 After checking in and getting to the rooms, my mood instantly soured. There was a faint, lingering bad smell, and the upholstered headboard had a noticeable yellow stain, like head grease. The lampshades were dusty, and the window glass was so dirty it obscured the view. A sign advertised instant noodles and drinks at double the price, claiming it included a service fee – even delivery food with a delivery fee isn't this expensive. This hotel truly exudes a 'rip-you-off' ambition at every turn. When I went out for a walk, I was approached by an old man on an electric scooter who immediately asked, 'Do you want a ride to the scenic area entrance?' After declining, he seamlessly transitioned to, 'Would you like to try some local tea?' My good impression of Wuyi Mountain instantly vanished. Then came the main event at night. The showers in both rooms drained poorly, so we could only take a quick rinse with a weak stream. The air conditioning was useless; it didn't heat at all. It was cold in the mountains at night, so we slept in our coats. And in one room, the toilet was clogged. It was late at night, and I felt uncomfortable calling the front desk, so I had to use the public restrooms. What a truly 'splendid' experience. All show and no substance, paying good money for misery. I won't be coming back."

"This hotel was chosen after a long search on Ctrip, and to my surprise, it exceeded all expectations. It's definitely a place I'd revisit. The hotel's food is very clean. In the morning, you can get freshly cooked noodles or rice vermicelli with fresh toppings, which already puts it head and shoulders above many guesthouses and hotels. Eating a hot bowl of noodles in the morning is truly comforting. In terms of facilities, I didn't even get to mention the gym, swimming pool, and laundry room – they have everything! The laundry room is very clean. If you can't pick up your clothes on time, the staff will even fold them for you and place them in a nearby storage cabinet. The hotel room was spotless and the soundproofing was excellent; I slept soundly until morning. The view was also fantastic, with a direct sightline to Dawang Peak. After breakfast, my family and I took a stroll around the hotel grounds. The air was fresh, and there's a koi pond in the courtyard where you can feed the fish. It's perfect for a vacation with elderly family members and children. The service is truly thoughtful."

The room itself is a bit dated; the toilet isn't automatic, and the sheer curtains are yellowish and manual. Other aspects are decent, though. The water pressure is excellent, making for a comfortable shower. There's also a small tea table for enjoying tea. The small balcony outside the connecting room is lovely and overlooks the water, which is very pleasant, but its privacy is somewhat compromised as other guests can walk around below."
