Compared to the Hyatt Regency Lanzhou where I stayed the previous two nights, the breakfast selection was quite extensive, including ice cream, which the kids loved. The biggest blunder was! The first night we were seated on the 9th floor, which was practically a gas chamber! You can try smelling it yourself, floor by floor; it's incredibly strong. My eyes were watering all night 😭 Later, we were moved to the 5th floor, and with the air conditioning on, it was much better."

The people of Wuwei are friendly and kind; the museum, Dayun Temple, and the South Gate Tower at dusk are also worth visiting."
