"An excellent city centre venue that was a former coaching inn with a spooky history! Thankfully the present owners Greene King have kept its rustic aesthetic behind the scenes going up to the rooms. Room was more than adequate for the 2 days we stayed, perhaps the first time have seen a hotel tv capable of receiving a signal! The dark furniture was really pleasant. All the colleagues proved conversational and friendly."

"We had an executive room which was lovely, very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Breakfast good, I wish we had seen that they do have a menu for additional breakfast dishes. Sunday was busy, very disappointed that they ran out of mugs, so we had to use paper cups!!!! Not acceptable! No offer to get any clean mugs. Member of party wanted a decaf latte coffee, was told sachets were available-which were awful. When she ordered a decaf latte from waitress she was charged. Hotel was very clean and staff nice. Additional £30 per adult/day for breakfast is excessive, additional charge also for spa make this hotel very expensive and not good value. I doubt we will return to ‘add ons’"

"I wanted to treat my daughter from London and son from France to a simple bar meal as they were short on time. The bar food was awful. We just had salads and we had a bowl of leaves with a finger of salmon, a few bits of tomato and egg plus a few beans. Not a lot for £15 each, I could have made them with a bag of leaves etc from Marks and Spencer. The best bit was the bowl of chunky chips. very very disappointing. £50 for lunch. I will not go again."

"Very disappointing housekeeping during our week-long stay First of all, breakfast is not free as advertised. We stayed at Travelodge Worcester for a week, and unfortunately our room was not cleaned even once during the entire stay. For a one- or two-night stay, this might be less of an issue, but for a full week it was very disappointing. We expected at least basic housekeeping, our sheets were not changed not even once during our stay, towels would be refreshed if we put a sign outside and rubish removed. However, the room and especially the bathroom were never cleaned. The location is very convenient and the hotel itself is fine for a short stay, but the lack of housekeeping throughout a week-long stay significantly affected our experience. I would expect much better communication about the housekeeping arrangements and a basic level of service for guests staying for several nights."
