"Not much service if you happen to be here on Sunday"

"One of the more affordable cottage/hotels on Saba, if you also want to be within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and a supermarket. I'm used to staying in hotels, but this one was actually quite nice and good. The cottages are indeed made of wood, and not everything closes perfectly, and the sink is outside, and the shower/toilet is separate. This isn't the case with all the cottages, by the way. It's wonderful to sleep surrounded by nature and the animals. Incidentally, you only have a few small ants and mosquitoes inside; the rest of the critters stay outside. There's a mosquito net over the bed, and in the evenings, I actually felt like I was staying in a hotel room, albeit without a TV, but with good internet and electricity. The pool isn't large, but nice for cooling off. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, and you can choose from a fair number of drinks that you can help yourself to (but make sure to write them down). Be aware that you have to climb quite a few stairs (even with your suitcase and other luggage) to get to the top. The view is magnificent."
