"I found that the hotel has a two-bedroom room type and chose it immediately. It feels worth staying. Family outings are two big and two small, and everyone sleeps well in two bedrooms. The room was clean, hygienic and quiet. It is the same for breakfast every day, the basic bagels+ coffee is full, but the omelet for breakfast is very good. Hotel service staff are very nice. It is worth staying."

"Very nice person at the front desk. ******* was having payment issues (prepaid confirmed reservation), but they let us check in and they dealt with the technical issue on their own. Unlike the other place we first tried to check into. Room was fine, plentiful easy parking. Even had a pool and attached Indian restaurant, but we didn't have time to use."

"Vi elskede dette sted!Af den besejrede vej i en lille landsby i bjergene i Vermont.Vores værelse (Sting suite) var fabelagtigt med et dobbeltsidet brandsted i soveværelset og badeværelset med en enorm jacuzzi. Maden på Tavern var også god og perfekt efter et par drinks ved brandbølgen.Hærdigt anbefale dette sted, hvis du leder efter en rolig romantisk gå væk."

"Just don't. I gave it a shot based on some positive recent reviews. I should have slept in my car. The woman who checked us in was very friendly. That's where the positive ends. The smoke detector was off the wall with the battery out. The microwave was dirty. The bathroom door didn't close completely. The beds were rock hard on a metal platform and squeaked with every move. Flat pillows. We had one lightbulb. The security latch was only halfway there - didn't latch with only half of it there. I should have left, but it was late. We checked out and had to call someone, who I can only assume was still asleep. No breakfast as advertised, but we wouldn't have stayed anyway. I normally don't leave reviews, but no. No. NO!"

"I was so impressed with this Inn! Everything is brand new, extremely clean, and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. Located near downtown Wilmington. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This place was beautiful condos that owners rent off season. There was a full kitchen, dining table, living room with a fireplace, bedroom, bathroom and a small patio. This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I did not see any restaurant here, however, there was a few in the shopping village that you could walk to. Unfortunately, in June there was not very much open. There was a very nice outdoor pool with hot tubs. This place is more of a skiing resort in winter."

"My fiancé and I stayed at The Hermitage Inn this past weekend while touring wedding venues, and we instantly fell in love with this beautiful property. Mary Lou, the owner, personally gave us our tour, and her passion and attention to detail were incredible. We loved the inn so much that we decided to upgrade our plans from an elopement to a small wedding here. Our stay in the Coldbrook King room exceeded our expectations! The fireplace, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful amenities made it the perfect getaway. Dinner at The Birches Dining Room was amazing and gave us a wonderful preview of what our wedding reception will be like. The Hermitage Inn is truly magical, and we cannot wait to celebrate our special day here!"

"Vi havde brug for en hurtig rejse ud af byen og valgte et par steder i Vermont og New York.Brattleboro var en af dem.Vi så historiske steder og stoppede her i to nætter.Vi elskede husets følelse. Smukt brandsted med en kop kaffe eller kakao tidligt om aftenen.Jeg nydte eftermiddagen med at male/ tegne i solrummet på anden sal.Ved januar var sneen smuk!! Bare hvad vi ønskede, at vi skulle være hyggelige og gøre det til en tidlig aften, men det var det, vi havde brug for.Vi nydte thrift/vintage butikker!"

"We accidentally ended up here, this Inn was not in our original plans, BUT I must say it was a very big blessing and we were so glad we did. The peace at this Inn was immeasurable and some of the views from this location are breathtaking. The view from our room was absolutely lovely and we very much enjoyed our time while we were there. Additionally, the owners were very welcoming and made you feel valued as a guest. The Inn was also very … clean and that is something I personally value when staying somewhere."
