"The hotel is located about a 5-minute drive from the train station, a five-pound fare, or a 25-minute walk. The hotel is British-style, with great views from the public areas and breakfast area. In the evenings and afternoons, a coffee or a glass of wine outside the hotel is a 10-minute deal. Breakfast is a menu, allowing you to choose your desired meal. However, before leaving the hotel, I asked the front desk staff to call a taxi to the station, but they suggested we book online or call the taxi driver directly."

"Just had a lovely 3 night stay at Beaumont Guest House,arrived early but met by Simona who directed us to carpark. Position of hotel is ideal,short walk to bus stop and shops. Taxi,s very hit and miss (some very unfriendly drivers) taxi cost less than bus fare. We stayed in a beautiful Superior room with lovely mountain view. Everything you needed was provided in room. Beautiful bed linen and big fluffy towels,super comfy bed. Simona, owner very attentive, approachable and eager to help. Both her and her husband run a beautiful Guest house. Would like to thank Simona for making our stay so enjoyable and will recommend to friends and we will return. Can't understand negative reviews as we found hotel spotless and extremely accomodating. 5 * plus ."

"Location: About 10 minutes walk from Windermere Railway Station. It's downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back. It's quite close. The accommodation is self-service, with access control, no elevator, you need to carry your own luggage, up to the third floor The room is quite big, the hygiene is OK, the hot water is a little slow, and the room has heating The hotel breakfast (8:30-9:30) is pretty good, with a variety of choices. You can fill it out one day in advance and put it on the table at the entrance. On our last day, we needed to catch the bus early, so we asked the hotel staff to prepare breakfast for us on the way. The service attitude was very good."

"Of my trip to England, Windermere was the worst. First, at the gas station, they overcharged me 20% without offering any service. There was a long queue, so I didn't argue. Then, the hotel was a nightmare. It's a shame I didn't book through ***********; otherwise, I could have promoted it properly in English. I hope this feedback will be reflected in the hotel's suggestions. At the hotel, there was no parking available for temporary parking. We had just finished a four-hour drive and desperately needed a break. The receptionist just kept apologizing and offered no real help. Second, they charged me £593 a night for check-in! We had booked the room and price six months in advance. This was almost three times our initial quote! I told him I could check in, but I didn't agree to the price and needed to reconfirm. Then, the bizarre thing happened: after struggling to get our luggage to the second floor of another building, we opened the room to find someone already there! Furious, I quickly slammed the door shut and went back to the front desk, loudly berating them for the wrong room! I even asked someone else to serve me! Thankfully, another, slightly older waiter quickly attended to us. First, he assigned us the best room, number 1, with a lake view. Second, he cancelled the original charge and charged us a new room fee of a little over two hundred pounds—much more reliable this time! The ending was relatively satisfactory, and I eventually found a suitable free parking space myself. The young man who initially made the mistake, somewhat resembling Rooney, I assume he was confused after helping the previous guest with their luggage, so I won't mention his name. Hopefully, he'll be more careful in the future."
