"Beautiful setting but basic accommodation.  Overall I wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return based on the room we had. Our family room was a little dark with one window that could only be opened a few cms. The room was very warm and stuffy due to the warm weather and there was no air con or fans, just a recommendation to keep the curtains closed during the day. The room was missing a lot that I’d expect as standard in a good 4 star, no robes, no coffee machine, no conditioner.  We ate at the bar twice, the first time was really awful and not as described. I ordered a duck wrap, it came drenched in gravy and the flavour was awful. My husband had ordered oriental fish tacos, no Asian flavours at all, just fish and mayo. Out of necessity we ate there again and we had a nice burger and scampi so I don’t know if it was the order or the chef. On the plus side the spa facilities are nice and generally all the staff were very helpful and friendly."

"May 2026 We book or reservation with Rebecca and she was so helpful and kind to us. We got a family suite with the bunk beds it was so spacious, it was my son’s birthday and they had a little card and sweets wishing him a happy birthday which was a nice touch. We eat in farina the first night the only thing I was slightly disappointed with this as it wasn’t really suitable for kids under 3 as there kids menu was 11euro. I could see it was a large portion, but it would have been a waste as my 3 year old wouldn’t have eaten it all. I asked the young gentleman server for a baby bowl for my 7m old and he said “we don’t really do them” so I had to run up to the room thankfully we had a pouch, this is no means a complaint just something to review for smaller kids as not everyone would have spare food. We eat in the BBG the next night and this was 100% better the food was fab and a lot more reasonable, they also provided baby bowls here. They had loads to do for kids playgrounds, a little train around the grounds, go karting (3euro extra), indoor play area, cinema which the kids loved such a good idea (you can buy goodies in the little shop for the film) Their pool is also clean and staff are friendly. I would 100% recommend this place to stay and will be coming back."

"It was okay. I stayed here for one night while stopping over on my way to see the puffins. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, but you have to cross a long bridge. The downsides were that the room was a bit damp, and the decor was a bit depressing."
