"What a wonderful oasis in this most charming town! The building, the rooms, and the facilities are totally refreshed and in fantastic shape. The room we got had this most spectacular view of the the Lauterbrunnen Valley, and the layout of the room is efficient and the use of wood and stone is charming. We only used the spa on the last day after we had done half day of skiing, and it was fantastic: the outdoor heated pool was super nice, and the changing room had everything to allow us to change, freshen up, and repack for the airport. The breakfast was 10/10. The hamburgers we had one evening were 10/10. The formal restaurant is probably a tiny bit weaker than it should be, if I can be honest. While the service in the restaurant was flawless, the main courses were not as outstanding as I had expected, though they were not bad, either. Finally, the overall service in the hotel was a 10/10: every single person was courteous, warm, efficient, and effective. I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past year, and will be returning again in June. I have my go-to hotels in many cities, and in this area of Switzerland, the Belvedere is my go-to hotel!"

"I didn't stay at this hotel at all. This hotel has the latest check-in time! On the hill! It's raining heavily, there are old people and children, in the middle of the night, let me walk the mountain road to find it by myself, because the staff is off work! Ctrip will not give any reminder! I won't tell you that this hotel needs special transportation to go up! DO NOT BOOK! "I don't recommend staying in Wengen. It gets dark very early, there's not much to do nearby, and it's inconvenient to get around. Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken at the foot of the mountain are much better. This hotel is quite new, the hygiene is acceptable, the breakfast is average, and the toilet is very small."

"We had a lovely stay! The hotel is conveniently located right behind the train station, making it very easy to get around. One of the highlights was the beautiful courtyard, where they screened the World Cup matches—we could even watch the games from our balcony. The restaurant downstairs plays music in the evenings, which we could hear from our room. This didn’t bother us, but it may be something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. The room had a great view, the breakfast was delicious, and we slept well. The bed was comfortable, the blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a restful night’s sleep."

"We stayed a week in this hotel booking two rooms. The room with the view on Jungfrau is amazing. Nicely decorated with wood panel. Note that there is only shower no bathtube in some rooms. The service is professional and staff very friendly coming from all nationalities The food at the restaurant is very good. Spa is worth with different pools, sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool. I highly recommend the massage which was one of best one I ever had. On the things to improve: No French channel on TV, they have over 40 channels not a single one in French, this is not acceptable We had to pay for extra for breakfast like pancakes, when you pay over 600 euros per night for a room this is not acceptable"

"My husband and we stayed in Maya Caprice this June as it was recommended by my nephew who were guests at the hotel last October. We were very impressed as how clean the hotel is. It also has a unisex outdoor spa which you need to put on your swim suit when using the pool. This pool is overlooking the spectacular mountains which was a bonus for staying at this hotel. The hotel is just 3 minutes away from Wengen train station. Super convenient and offers fantastic views of the mountains. Food was nice too. We would like to thank the hotel manager Daniel for arranging a platter of fruits and some chocolates in our room. It was a lovely gesture from the hotel as we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Will choose Maya Caprice Spa Hotel again the next time we visit Wengen."
