"The Hyatt Lake Tahoe offers an excellent family experience. The spacious and bright lake-view rooms offer stunning views of the snow-capped mountains and the lake, which thrilled the children. The hotel features a small, heated, and clean children's pool, and daily craft and nature exploration activities are offered. Staff members even kneel down to talk to the children and give them little badges. Breakfast is a buffet with freshly made waffles and fruit, and high chairs and tableware for toddlers are provided. The beach is a five-minute walk away, where you can rent kayaks and enjoy a bonfire in the evening to roast marshmallows and watch the sunset reflected on the lake. The only downside is the high room rate, but the children slept soundly and said they would definitely come back, making it well worth the price."

"If you must stay here, don't go out at night, the surrounding area is very dangerous. I almost went crazy when I went out to find something to eat, so I quickly took an Uber to escape. I asked the driver about the security situation in Reno. The driver said he had lived here for many years and felt that except for the place where I just stood (next to the hotel), it was okay 😅"

"Trip.com put us in an ADA room which had no comfortable chair to sit in and a weird shower set up for disabled people. Room and hotel were clean but the beds were too soft and sagging."

"It did the job! Clean and comfy. And was kept well cool. The security deposit is a bit traumatizing but it was refunded without issue. The tiny elevator was a funky experience. Recommend if you need a place to stay that's affordable but only if you are able to afford the deposit and trust that they return it."

"Room was nice but really small for $227.00 for one night. Upon arriving and getting a first floor room found that the outside window to the parking lot was open and could have easily allowed someone to come in. Maintenance fixed it but it was a little disconcerting. Everything else was fine and the morning buffet was very good. There was an additional charge on my credit card for $22.00 that wasn't explained and that was irritating. I would stay there again however as the inconveniences mentioned weren't disqualifying. Customer service at the counter and from housekeeping were very good."
