Kolas Grand - Hotel and Convention Center

"I stayed at this hotel recently, and while there are a few positives, my overall experience was extremely disappointing. Since the hotel is relatively new, the rooms are clean, modern, and well maintained. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The hotel has a function hall on the 3rd floor, and I was allotted a room on the 1st floor. Coincidentally, there was an event on the night of my stay. From around 8:00 PM onwards, loud music and heavy bass caused noticeable vibrations inside my room. I repeatedly complained to the reception, but no effective action was taken. The disturbance continued until around 10:30 PM. I had to wake up at 5:00 AM the next morning to attend a wedding, and this completely disrupted my sleep. It was disappointing to see such little concern for the comfort of paying guests. The parking situation was even worse. The hotel advertises underground parking, but accessing it involves an extremely steep ramp of around 30 feet. While driving down, the underside of my car scraped the ramp. The next morning, getting the car out was even more difficult. The incline was so steep that my relatively new tyres spun excessively, producing a large amount of smoke before the car could climb out. This parking design is completely impractical for many passenger cars and poses a real risk of vehicle damage. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. A hotel should prioritize guest comfort and safety, but the management showed little concern about either the excessive noise or the unsafe parking. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay, and I would strongly advise checking whether there's an event scheduled before booking—or better yet, choosing another hotel altogether."
