"Disappointing experience in this hotel, regretfully. I booked an apartment, presented as a space accommodating 3-5 people. Actually it was for 2 people and a small child, as the coach was not extendable. Additionally, the bed for the child was in a space not suitable for sleeping or living, less than 4 sqm, with no natural light and a window opening next to a wall, absolutely impossible to get air in and claustrophobic. I asked for another option to no avail, although the hotel was almost empty. On our way to the hotel we got a message saying that they do not serve dinner the next day - to be correct, they offered us the possibility to cancel for free, however our plans were already made and we were on our way. It should have been mentioned on the booking page… Furniture old, well maintained but somehow creepy, with part of the dressing above the night table and next to the bed (I was constantly afraid that I could knock my head when getting up. Bed was not comfortable, and pillows even less. Not the standard of a 4star hotel - for instance not possible to make coffee or tea in the room. The hotel borrowed us a kettle, - but I was shocked to find out at the check out that I had actually to pay the 5 eur for loaning the kettle! The people were nice, doing their job. Food was ok, many options, but at times either too salty or not salty enough. We waited more than 30 min for fried eggs and omelette, and we had to remind the waiter about our order - albeit we were the only clients in the restaurant. Will not go back!"

Göbels Landhotel

"A location worthy of Germany with nice staff and a restaurant ready for instagram photos. The town is like as to welcome tourists. If you stay at this hotel, don't worry about parking because the hotel has numerous spots including parking for charging electric cars."

Sauerland Stern Hotel

"Arrived without a booking and was able to get a family room. First room they gave us was not made up. Second room they gave us was dirty gooey stuff on wardrobe, splashes up the walls and around the light switch .No coffee or tea. Housekeeping came and said, they had lots of parties. He said he would report it. Cleaned the marks stocked the coffee and left. For the price of the hotel, this is not what we expected. Our friends room was also a family room and not made up . He had to go down to reception 2 imes over various issues. I can't recommend this hotel and I would suggest you cook elsewhere. I gave it 3 stars because the view was ok and there's free parking. We also got a little welcome gift of cards and some dice which was a nice touch."

Romantik Hotel Landhaus Bärenmühle

"We were here to lunch late in mid-September 2024. On the phone we were assured that the Bistro had opened. On site we had to find it was closed and shredded. We were allowed to take a place in a neighborhood of the restaurant where an Asian served us. A "Wild herb salad with goat fresh cheese" for 16.50 Euro was not more than a decoration on the table. If we hadn't asked for bread yet, I would have gone out more hungry than I had before. A small biker over 4 euros! Who wants to be angry or spend a lot of money on a dietary meal, can do that liked - I was here for the first and last time. Sometimes you read something about a hotel or restaurant over a long period and are disappointed in one or two points when you try it. In this case, however, I was just hit by the insolence in front of my head!!"

"Vi kan kun anbefale hotellet . Vi var kun 2 nætter her, men alt var virkelig godt. Rengøring ,meget venlig personale ,på receptionen en meget nice dame Vi var meget tidligt der og ville bare fortælle, at vi er der . Damen på receptionen undskyldte, at værelset endnu ikke var klar . Indcheck meget hurtigt og placering af hotellet super.En kat spring væk fra motorvejen. Så vi ville under alle omstændigheder booke her igen. Pris ydelse top"

"The renovated room was very stylish but unfortunately little stuff. The two-door box was too small, as the safe, ceilings, bath coats were still in place. Only a table, wallet sheet and small night tables without slipboards. The bathroom was generous and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was ok, the evening buffet was very inconceivable and little tasty. Each evening 2 main meals in the offer, fish or meat! Salat and pre-food buffet was all right. Unfortunately, there was also too little trained staff, only helpers who could hardly speak German. Unfortunately, the large dining room was also very uncomfortable, the tables in line and glee, as in the train station. No deco, the light too grell. There could be much more out there!! The bar, however, is exactly the opposite, urgent and a super friendly and competent bar woman!! The wellness area still very nice, but there was only 1 sauna towel that you had to bring out of the room. Very annoying was also, there was no competent contact staff! And if you had seized someone, you received a quite arrogant answer! We found the interim cleaning of the rooms, if the beds were to be made, you had to log in in the reception, we have never experienced it!"
