"10 minutes drive from the Volcano Park, the volcano erupts the next day, EP32. Since it was very close to the scene, I was really happy. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. There are a lot of food within 10 minutes of driving nearby, but they are all closed at 21:30. We looked at the volcano that day not because the hotel prepared breakfast one night in advance and put it in the refrigerator, we were going to be hungry."

"The most cost-effective homestay on Hawaii's Big Island! The specific volcanic park entrance is only a few minutes away. The environment of the homestay is quiet and warm, the room is very comfortable, and the combed bed is great to lie on the mobile phone! The heavy rainstorm we arrived on, but it was better to fall asleep listening to the sound of rain. The room also has free knives and forks, hot water bottles, we even ate instant noodles, drank the milk bought in the supermarket, it was really a pleasant memory!"

"Just a few casitas, but they all offer privacy in the rainforest. We stayed in Haleakale. Raindrops on the roof overnight with a fire was so romantic. Fresh fruit and quiche were delivered to the fridge in our room before checkin for the morning’s breakfast. A little private porch to enjoy coffee in the morning. And free protein bars in the lobby so we had a treat on arrival. We considered staying in the Hawaii Volcano House on the rim - boy are we glad we didn’t (though we did enjoy dinner there overlooking Kilauea). Being 8 minutes away from HVNP, we beat the crowds and felt like we had the Park to ourselves. If it matters to you, there was strong wifi in our room. And lots of channels on TV. All of the staff we met were welcoming and kind. In fact, I messed up our reservation and John was Mr. “No Problem” when we called to fix things. Try asking a chain to do that - no chance. Our only regret: we wish we’d stay two nights. Other guests we chatted with stayed three nights, and their feeling was also that two nights was sufficient. Highly recommended. Thanks to John, Carlos and all the team"
