"Lots to like at this resort, firstly the location nestled in the hills is beautiful and the staff are warm and welcoming and it’s spotless. Michele in the restaurant was superb, going out of his way to greet us. However, the rooms are a let down, the air conditioning is almost non existent and can be adjusted by reception so although we set it at 18 degrees it never got cooler than 22 so it was too hot to sleep well. The bathrooms were spacious with everything you needed but the shower cubicle was the smallest I ever used barely able to turn around and looked very 70’s, nothing swanky at all. Breakfast had all you needed and again the staff were great but dinner in the restaurant was nothing special, undercooked potatoes, food warm not hot. I think for the price you should eat elsewhere."

"The food was very good, as was the breakfast buffet, although unfortunately there was little variety for such a 4-star hotel. We had booked a suite. The shower had a rainforest shower, which unfortunately didn't work. After showering, the bathroom was also flooded! What particularly annoyed me, however, was that even in a hotel like this, they charge an additional fee for the table: per person!!! I'd never been to Italy before, so I didn't know this was apparently common practice. I found it outrageous."

"The hotel is a bit dated but overall well kept, excellent cleaning, nice pool. The sore point was the restaurant room, during the period in which we stayed, a strong and cold mistral wind was blowing and there is no alternative room to dine sheltered from the wind. Unfortunately, even after we complained, the management did not try to change the situation in the slightest, replying that they were sorry but unfortunately they could not do anything about it... I think that something like this is not acceptable. As a result, we always ate cold and in the cold and this is absolutely not good. Even the waiters were embarrassed by the situation because obviously most of the guests did not want to dine in the cold and with gusts of wind. Very kind staff always with a smile"

The local bus runs along the coast, one bus an hour, very useful as we didn't have a car, pay on the bus."
