"Jeg har for nylig været på Crowne Plaza Vilamoura i familien, og desværre var erfaringen skuffende for et femstjernet hotel. Selv om placeringen er privilegeret, med direkte adgang til stranden, og rensningen af værelserne er uforskammet, er servicen alvorligt svigtet med hensyn til gæstfrihed. Bortset fra receptionens team, som er meget rart, ser resten af personalet ud til at have "nej" som standard svar. På morgenmad bliver miljøet stressende 15 minutter før 10:30, med ansatte, der tager alt op hurtigt. Lige efter, i baren, forsøgte vi at bede om noget let at følge kaffe, og ufleksibiliteten var total, alt var svært eller ikke eksisterer. Denne mangel på brise spreder sig til fritid: på SPA, selv om de lukkede kl. 19.00, var de allerede i rensning, at skabe en udvisningsmiljø. Desuden betale 5€/timme for fuldstændig beskadigede ping-pong raketter er uacceptabelt i et hotel i denne kategori. Det er vigtigt at uddanne teams for at forstå begrebet kundeservice, For hotellets struktur er fantastisk, men den aktuelle service devaluerer helt mærket."

"Absolutely loved our stay here. Peace and quiet with lovely views of the pool next to the golf course. Our villa no6 was spacious and clean . It had everything you need for self catering. Both bedrooms were big and the joys of 2 bathrooms. Rooms were cleaned every other day with fresh towels bedding and loo role etc. All the staff especially the receptionist were friendly and approachable. I wouldn't improve anything and I'm finding it hard to find anything negative. Only thing is if you want bars and restaurants within walking distance and you like everything close , this may not be the best choice but for us it was perfect! We hired a car for the week so getting about was no issue. We did however walk to the local spar a few times for essentials which was about 20minute walk there n back . Vilamoura marina / beach was a 30 minute walk but was easy and flat through a nice neighbourhood. I would definitely book again ."

"We arrived at the hotel slightly worried after reading some negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The reception was clean and tidy and the man on reception was very welcoming. Although we were early they suggested we have a drink and then our room would be ready, the bar area and pool area are kept immaculate and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a superior one bedroom apartment on the 4th floor, it had recently been refurbished and upgraded, it was beautiful and had everything we needed, if I had to pick any faults I would say the shower wasn't the best and the wardrobe doors stick ! So nothing really. The hotel location was overlooking the pool and was peaceful day and night. Breakfast was simple but adequate as a vegan i struggled slightly so did take my own milk and yoghurt in. We were bed and breakfast because of this, but those that were on half board were saying the food on an evening was beautiful. Location wise it is quiet, surrounded by a few restaurants the Lagos Azure ? I think, over the road near the supermarket was exceptional and we ate here twice. Its a nice walk to the marina, about 25mins and we used the Bolt app for getting about which was petfect. The hotel offers free shuttle and there's a tourist train also, so plenty of transport. We had entertainment of music, karaoke etc most evenings. I highly reccomend a trip to the gypsy markets for some bargains. Its just opposite Lidl. We had a 4 day break and I cant fault anything, from start to finish. Clean, Tidy, Friendly and nice location. Definitely warrants the 3star status. Say hello to the resident cat, who was employee of the month 🐱 Happy Holidays !"

"Firstly let me say the only good thing about these apartments were Patrica and Lilly on reception. the day before we were due to travel we received a message stating we would have to pay €200 security deposit,we thought ok we wont be wrecking the place. We arranged for an early check in as our flight was landing at 830 am,we took a taxi from Faro ,the driver could not find the place at first but we got there anyway. At reception we checked in and paid the deposit and were shown to our studio Never in all my travels have I seen worse the place was in bad state,myself and my wife discussed it and went to reception to complain and see if we could be moved,Patrica found us a one bed apartment for which we had to pay an extra €175 for the upgrade,the first room were shown to was smelly and did not appear to have been aired for a while.We took the second room it was brighter and more spacious than the studio,we agreed to take it,on closer inspection we found it in a poor state of repair,trims hanging off press doors bathroom door was in need of changing and lots of other stuff needed doing.That evening the shower flooded the bathroom maintenance man arrived and sorted it,they said it was only a new shower tray. Next day I spoke to Lilly at reception and made all my complaints known eventually it was agreed to refund the€175 for the upgrade. On the Friday (day 3 of our week) we were asked if we wanted to go to another of the groups apartments,having lost so much time we decided to stay put. to be honest there were so many things wrong,some of the towels were badly stained,the pool never looked clean and was turning green,cleaner came to clean it but to be honest he didnt do a good job.No linen change for the week and you had to bring out your own rubbish, It was a good 40 minute walk to the Marina and a little further to the beach. We were in contact with Loveholidays while we were there but to be honest we did not get much satisfaction from them.Needless to say we wont be going back"
