"Just back today from a fantastic 10 days at this hotel, felt from day one you got the personal touch, the gentleman at breakfast was lovely and polite offering tips about the resort and made us very welcome each morning. The room we had was fantastic huge balcony very clean bedding and the hotel decor was quirky with its bikes and nostalgia items, it proves that sometimes the smaller hotels try harder that was definitely the case here. The location is only an Uber ride to the marina costing and average of 5.00 euros plus you can get to most locations from this hotel. Can I thank all their staff for a very nice Portugal welcome xx Paul Marsden & Maria Barrow 24th September 2024"

"This review is for their in house restaurant only. We didn’t stay here. Idiosyncratic would be the kindest way to describe this restaurant. The waiter gave us the menu and said he wasn’t sure what items were off the menu, so could we select and he would let us know! Chicken Piri Piri was off, much to our surprise, but apart from that all was OK. All quite interesting but maybe a feature of visiting in September. There was only one other couple eating at the same time. Service was OK as was the food. I chose grilled fish of the day, which was very good. Drinks were reasonably priced and food was about average in price. All a bit strange but OK overall."

"The reception staff in particular Rafellella were so accommodating allowing us to check in early and check out late, we were a rowdy group as we were on a Hen Party and the hotel were so accommodating never making us feel out of place and always been kind even after we had a few drinks. The rooms were also massive we had 3 people to a junior suite but could have had more. Great hotel!"

"Bestilling af dobbeltværelser, to store og små, og se hotellets officielle net, hvor det siger, at børn under 12 år gratis bruger eksisterende senge, så book et værelse.Resultatet er, at hver barn vil have en ekstra 70 euro efter reservationen, fordi hotellet viser, at ordren ikke kan annulleres, og at de stadig vil bo. Resultatet var, at 260 euro blev taget på stedet, og at en opgradering blev påkrævet, og at et værelse ikke var større, og sofaen blev ændret til sengen. Hardwarefaciliteter er gamle, og tørklædet kan stå i badet, mere end 4000 meget gamle værelser om natten, kan ikke bruge håndklæder til poolen, og der er brug for ekstra betaling for håndklæder. Frugt er meget uvenligt for asiatiske, og frugt er meget europæisk, mens frugtbukserne er tørre, fordi det regner i første dag, hvilket fører til meget koldt Det anbefales, at alle asiatiske folk ikke skal bo. Ps, fordi den tvungne opstigning, fandt Trip.com-kommunikation, Trip.com-holdning positiv, og endelig udfyldte 10 euro til mig"

"I spent a week at Vila Moura with family having traveled from Australia. My usual routine is to do 3-4 gym workouts each week and there wasn’t much information about fitness centres in VilaMoura. Fortunately with a little help from Google Maps I found Browns and walked there (25 mins from Tennis Villas). It’s an attractive walk up past the golf course and the Staff, in particular the delightful lady in Reception could not have been more welcoming and helpful ( particularly for an Aussie who speaks no Portuguese 😊). I visited four times, had access to the gym, inside and outside pool and change rooms for 20Euros per visit or week at 70Euros. It’s a well equipped gym and my wife joined me one day and relaxed by the pool and had coffee in the cafe. A great find that really helped to make this a pleasant and healthy visit."
