"This is a wonderful little hotel/hostel. Situated in the main square, above BlaBla restaurant (which seems to be the most popular place in town). Our room was huge with a lovely little balcony, overlooking the square and lake. Five rooms on our floor, sharing one female and one male bathroom, worked out well, with us not bumping into anyone else. The carpet was a bit worn, but we were impressed with the room for the price."

If you wanted coffee, you had to ask the waiter, and they would brew a pot for you. It's very close to Vevey train station—just cross the road from the exit. So, there are plenty of surrounding supermarkets, restaurants, and bus stops, making it quite convenient. The booked room is relatively spacious, and our temporary request for an extra bed was easily fulfilled. The room type we chose also comes with a kitchen, equipped with tableware, cooking utensils, and a microwave. For Chinese people who are used to drinking hot water and eating warm meals, after being "tortured" by all the cold bread and cold salads in the Swiss German-speaking region, it’s such a relief to finally be able to buy cold food from the supermarket, take it back to the room, and heat it up before eating. "This hotel is a joke . The room was so hot that I had to keep the window open for the night. On the first floor the noise didn’t stop during the night and people came at 4 am to manipulate some stuff in the street . The breakfast is not existant compared to decent hotels."
