Hotel Palitra ★★★
Hotel Color ★★★
"Dirty.Outdated.Cigarette smell in the room."
Hotel Perunika ★★★
"Ok for 3 stars"
Apollo Spa Resort - All-Inclusive , Indoor & Outdoor Pools & Individual AC in Every Room ★★★★
"5 stars for Animation Team Valya and Nat. Every night diferent activities and lots of fun for kids and family! Very satisfied thank you miss Valya 🏆🏆🏆💪💪💪💪💪💪 5 stele pentru echipa de animatori. Activități super pentru copii și adulți ne-am simțit super."
Albizia Beach Hotel ★★★
"Nice hotel on a charming little beach, mostly frequented by Bulgarians. Large room with sea view. A few beach restaurants nearby, including a very nice one right in front of the hotel (the one with a name written only in Bulgarian and a beautiful terrace). Be careful: the hotel is very far from the center of Varna. 30 minutes easy."
Bonita Hotel ★★★
"Elskede hotellet. Mario i receptionen var meget imødekommende fra dag 1. Valeria lavede den bedste cappuccino. Rengøringen var ok.."

Ensana Aquahouse
"Nice Hotel !!"
Astor Garden Hotel
"The hotel is very good, I spent many times in this hotel. The location, the room, the property, the staff, the food, the spa, the parking, the pools are great except one thing: the water in the biggest pool in front of the hotel which is very cold . It is a big pool but it's impossible to use it because the water is very cold."
Villa Chinka by Astor Garden Hotel - Adults Only
"Beautiful place with amazing staff and cool chilled atmosphere, the place has the right balance between chic and relaxed, the owners made amazing job by keeping the place familial and at the same time professional, they sent a cake for my partner’s birthday which was a nice and thoughtful, the food in all the restaurants is outstanding and the staff will do anything to make the customer happy, the restaurant next door more is also amazing and is a must try."
The Palace Hotel, Sunny Day
"Spacious room, spectacular view, warm welcome, very nice SPA center and swimming pool with hot mineral water. Conference hall and options for a nice coffee break. You can easily visit the city of Varna during your stay."
Ibis Styles Golden Sands Roomer Hotel
"Hotellet har en meget god beliggenhed kun 300 m.fra stranden.God morgenmad er imidlertid bedre at gå senere, da mad er frisk. Receptionister var venlige og hjælpsomme, da vi ved vores ankomst ikke fik den rigtige værelsestildeling, og to gange i vores 6-dages opholdshusholdning havde mistet vores værelse, førte til uændrede håndklæder og hør, som ikke kan accepteres på grundlag af hotellets stjerner."
Hotel Slavey - All Inclusive
"Everything was fine, from the transfer to the food. EXCEPT: Guests pile TOO MUCH food onto their plates, so the buffet empties quickly. Then they leave half of it behind – pure waste!! Tip: Someone should be behind the buffet... Can't they use disposable cups??? So much plastic is thrown away every day... for an all-inclusive package, that's a lot!!! It's a shame there was no evening entertainment. The staff were friendly enough, but the beds weren't made."
Hotel Amfora
"I only stayed here for 3 nights last summer but it was a lovely place - very comfortable and friendly in particular the owner George who was very helpful. The pool is gorgeous and the weather was also lovely in the August time that I stayed."
Luna Beach Hotel - All Inclusive

Apart Hotel Golden Line
"Lovely Stay at Golden Line Hotel – Will Return! We had a great holiday at the Golden Line Hotel in Bulgaria. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment with a beautiful sea view, which was a real treat. The apartment was cleaned daily (if you wanted), with fresh towels provided, and bedding changed every three days – very convenient and appreciated. The location is great – not far from the beach. However, it's a shame there are no dedicated sunbeds for the hotel. If you want to use a sunbed on the beach, you’ll have to pay 12 Lev per bed. The pool was heated, which was a bonus since we visited in May – it's heated until the 31st. The food was good overall. There wasn’t a huge variety, but I found something tasty to eat every day. Drinks were not the best – a bit watered down – though the wine was fine. We often bought a bottle or two to enjoy on our balcony, which made for lovely, relaxing evenings. We’re already planning to return to the same hotel next year – a very enjoyable and comfortable stay! "
International Hotel Casino & Tower Suites
"If you are looking for a hotel with bad food and a casino with less-than-average gambling conditions, this is the hotel for you. On the other hand nice rooms, clean, and honest prices (but you will spend much more at the casino). Not in the center of varna."
Astera Hotel & Spa with Free Private Beach
"Firstly it may be an idea to read the reviews on Google. On arrival at hotel, approx 3am we were given our cards, 2 staff in reception sitting on phones and drinking beer. Nothing was explained to us just a bit of paper given. First morning we attended breakfast, a big room with no windows and nowhere to eat outside. There was no cutlery on the table to I had to stop one of the foreign waiters who didn't know what I was asking but eventually pointed to a drawer, I took the place mats and cutlery from the same area and put on our table. Again looking around, staff standing using their phones, for the whole two weeks only one or 2 of the staff could even make eye contact with us? Same day, evening meal, I attempted to ask in Bulgarian about cheese for the soup, one of the chef ignorantly pointed at the card which advised what the soup was, and after angrily looking at me then just ignored me. I found cheese for soup which was at the opposite end of this small area where everyone walks around like wild animals, anyway, I asked another chef if he could help me use the microwave, he just stood laughing at me, I had to go and look for another staff member who assisted me but I was so angry at this I could hardly eat. In the 2 weeks we never attended this dull restaurant for lunch, after eating anything from here, 10 minutes later we were hurrying to the toilet and I mean every time. Many staff all seem to be from Azerbaijan, they don't speak English or even Bulgarian. At the beginning they were uninterested at doing their jobs, on phones, one girl on the terrace bar was constantly petting with the boys, kissing and hugging in front of everyone, was uncomfortable to watch and so unprofessional. After one of the Azerbaijan staff asked my husband for a cigarette, my husband went to manager to complain, after this their manner was slightly more pleasant or maybe it was the tips we were giving even though they didn't deserve but that's the kind of people we are. Cleaning, my husband was annoyed the room had no been cleaned, that's when he went to reception to complain and was told this was NORMAL? We arranged a meeting with rep who wasnt much help, always full of poor excuses and unable to give straight answers Indoor pool, not heated. Outdoor pool, not once did I see it being cleaned, no help even getting mattresses for the sunbeds, pool staff absent for long periods while umbrellas blew over or where on their phones. Beach - no toilet, pour your own drink and uncomfortable, broken beds. Hand sanitizers - most of them empty No diet cola or sweetener for tea/coffee, apparently, according to rep, people on diets or with diabetes don't exist in Bulgaria???? When we asked Balkan holidays about what the REP said she denied it. Animation and shows - in the 2 weeks we were there we say 3 shows, 2 the same which was flamenco and one magic show. First week we saw the animators on one day only doing something by pool and some music on for half an hour. No interac"
Prestige Deluxe Hotel Aquapark Club - All Inclusive
Azalia Beach Hotel Balneo & Spa
"We chose the hotel due to the great position, on the beach and we arrived at the hotel at 1 pm. The check-in is done after 3 pm so, we had to wait in the lobby until 14.30 when they gave us the bracelets and the room card. You park the car for free about 500 m from the hotel, in the underground parking of another hotel, go with a guard who guides you and come back with his car. If you want to get out of the parking lot you have to go every time with a guard from the hotel. The rooms are not very spacious, but they are clean, we had 2 twin beds and 2 bunk beds. The garbage was taken daily, the sheets being changed to 2-3 days. We stayed on the ground floor (where the reception was) with side sea view, so I don't know how crowded the elevators were. At the lower levels are the restaurant and the spa area, the interior pool, the beach. The indoor pool has thermal heated water, there is also a spa area, massage, sludge, etc. The outdoor pool has adult and children area but the water is cold all the time. The food was decent and not too diversified, you did not die of hunger but you did not get up happy from the table. Breakfast with a few varieties of sausages and cheeses, olives, vegetables, eggs, yogurt, cereals, pastries, not so good coffee. Lunch and dinner had 1-2 kinds of meat (usually chicken, pork, rarely fish), a few types of salads, pasta (always) with 2 types of sauces, 2 types of soup, fruits, ice cream and a few types of poor quality cakes. The food was poor, tasteless, maybe because it was the end of September they didn’t care much bout the food. The bars were about 3: one next to the indoor pool, one next to the outer pool and one in the lobby that served beer, wine, champagne, cocktails, etc. Near the pool bar is a food corner where they served throughout the day: fried potatoes, anchovies, pizza, fruits, etc. The hotel is located on the beach, in front of the hotel are free sunbeds for those staying in the hotel but they are located near the hotel, between the hotel and the water is a 100m sand area. The beach is clean with fine sand, water without stones. Throughout the beach, in front of other hotels were pipes with thermal water that flowed into the sea. In terms of fun, the hotel offers nothing, there is no entertainment. "
HVD Nympha Hotel - All Inclusive, Private Beach & Free Parking - Adults Only
Golden Beach Park Hotel - All Inclusive
"Disgusting hotel! Filth everywhere! The grounds are very small and unkempt. The staff is unfriendly and sullen, as if they were serving time. Rooms are quite spacious, with a bathtub (I haven't seen one in a hotel in a long time), and not a single hook for a towel in the bathroom. The soap dispensers on the wall barely work, and the water pressure apparently depends on how many people are showering at the same time. The restaurant is a nightmare! Everything is disgustingly dirty, including the rims on the cups; the machines for filling up with water and drinks are all stained and clogged with fingers; it seems no one ever cleans or dries them. The food is tasteless, with very little choice. The same old thing. Anything with seafood is even scary to eat under these conditions. There are pieces of shellfish in the rice with mussels! The fruit looks like it's home-grown, maybe someone stops by the market on their way to work. There's no bottled water, so you can only get it in a cup; the water from those dirty cars smells like metal. Carbonated water will do. We bought regular water at the store. The children were nauseous, vomiting, and had diarrhea. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m.; entering the restaurant 5 minutes earlier and simply sitting on the highway is not allowed; you'll be kicked out. All-Inclusive beach: If you take this package, you'll have the opportunity to relax on uncomfortable plastic sun loungers by the sea and use an umbrella, but sun loungers without mattresses require an additional fee of 3 leva per sun lounger. The water slides on the beach, included in this package, operate at the discretion of the beach staff. After a week at the hotel, they never worked. They only started setting up the slides after I emailed the hotel, claiming they were providing false information when selling the package and were deceiving the customer! The hotel manager recommended considering other, more expensive hotels if I didn't like anything. I've never heard a more unprofessional response in the hotel business. Bulgaria doesn't have a private beach; the paid and free ones are separated by a rope along the shore. This means that even if a sunbed is on the front line, you can't be the first; someone with an umbrella and a blanket will always be ahead. They strictly monitor who can use the sunbeds and who can't. They even pick on you if you invite a friend with a different bracelet to sit on the sunbed and talk. Parking: paid, 20 leva per day. Parking is under a barrier, not on the road. This is the only plus. Although cars scratch in this parking lot, it's impossible to make ends meet, as there are no cameras. There is a safe box in the rooms, but of course, it's a fee. The pool near the hotel: shabby old mattresses, small pool. The building has 9 floors, and the elevator is a long wait, sometimes even during rush hour (for food), and it often breaks down. The path to the sea is long and has many steps. Going down is fine, but going up is a challenge. Not suitable for older people. The sea is fine and clean. There are waves in the afternoon, but it's fine for children. The beach is dirty, covered in cigarette butts and cups. Vacationers: Mostly from Ukraine and Romania."
BSA Holiday Park Hotel - All Inclusive
"We stayed here for 1 week in September 2025 and overall the experience was good. Facilities: Excellent. The rooms have a/c at no extra cost and rooms are large with the usual TV that we never turned on. There are hair dryers in the bathrooms and the rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. There's also a small fridge in the rooms. There are 2 bars; one by the pool and another in the lobby, both serving good quality local drinks as well as premium brands. The prices for premium drinks are significantly lower than the strip. The pool area is an absolute sun trap. Even when windy there's barely a breeze and most of the many sunbeds are in the sun all day. There's also a shaded seating area. Food and drink: Good I can't fault the all inclusive drinks selection. Cocktails, beer and spirits are better than many places we've stayed and spirits are served in generous measures. What let's the hotel down slightly is the food. It's not that there's a lack of choice or that it's local cuisine, the issue is that the hot food simply isn't hot. However, this seems to be a cultural thing. Most of the guests were Bulgarian and Romanian and whilst we made use of the microwave to get our food piping hot, we didn't see a single other guest do the same. Overall: Good The hotel is very clean and most of the staff seem happy enough, especially the guy behind the pool bar. Overall a good holiday and excellent value for money."
