It’s a short walk to the lovely town of Taormina and the bus station is right behind so convenient for getting around. Not great for those with mobility issues as there’s lots of steps and located high up."

"Beautiful hotel and residence, very clean and well organized for all your needs. Excellent welcome, polite and very knowledgeable staff. Very nice rooms, comfortable and well furnished. Abundant and very good breakfast, both sweet and savory. The structure has a beautiful and never crowded swimming pool. Very convenient because it is a stone's throw from the station and via the underpass it is a snap to reach the center and the beach."

"I booked an apartment with all the hotel services (I still have to understand what they were): -paid for the breakfast service separately: average buffet, but with packaged products and the worst was finding myself with a herbal junk in the buffet for the whole day entire week of my stay, and hard-boiled eggs that were green inside. - it is not possible to have lunch and dinner in the structure. -Very hard and uncomfortable mattresses, I asked for a topper even while paying and they didn't have one. -paid parking: 100m from the hotel and very limited for those with a large car. -I had a dog and a small daughter, the hotel exit is unfortunately located in a curve in the road and therefore dangerous: once I didn't have time to cross before the dog peed, not in the hotel, but in the road in front of it and the lifeguard even scolded us that it would attract other dogs, we apologized and was insistent, I wonder what the point of paying a surcharge for a dog is if this is not taken into account. - one afternoon the hot water didn't work and we gave the little girl a shower by heating the water on the fire, when we called the reception the lady replied that she was alone and couldn't help us - the swimming pool is only open 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon (absurd in a seaside area) I paid for the entire stay at check in, even if I could have done it later, I expressed my disappointment several times even at check out and the answer was: she's a white fly! Well, ma'am, a white fly that will never land on this **** again! I'm sorry that this is the welcome in Varazze. Exaggerated price: to be clear, I paid the same price in a suite in a 5-star hotel in Rimini. The rest of the staff, especially the receptionist Giulio and the breakfast women, have always been very kind."

"For to år siden opholdt jeg mig på Hotel Miranda for en nat på en tur fra Italien til Frankrig.På det tidspunkt skrev jeg en TripAdvisor-review.Jeg havde en så behagelig hukommelse af min korte oplevelse, at jeg besluttede at vende tilbage. Jeg har lige tilbragt en uge på hotellet med fuld pension.Jeg elsker dette sted.Selv om jeg rejser alene, reserverede jeg et større rum designet til to personer, med havudsigt.Igen: det charmerende nabolag og den perfekte parkering.Plus personalet. Det er en familie-ejet og driftsleder, og det viser.De kender området, og de kender til gæstfrihed.Komfortabel seng, meget stille.Perfekt badeværelse. I min tidligere gennemgang sagde jeg, at jeg stærkt mistænker, at lyden kunne være noget af et problem i højsæsonen, ville man have naboer, både udenfor og ved siden af døren, samt på nabobalkoner. Trods tilstedeværelsen af mindst to dusin unge børn hørte jeg aldrig noget.Mad var god, og der var tilstrækkelig sort.Maleriet er malet i en varm gul. Man får menuen hver aften, hvor man laver spisevalg for dagen efter, og så når man ankommer til spiseværelset, bringer personalet de forskellige måltider "automatisk", som det var.Det er et godt system. Føde er anstændig italiensk og liguriansk hjemmelavet, ikke super-gourmet, men godt, bare hvad jeg ønskede.Service er meget hurtig, måske lidt for hurtig, men fint, meget bedre end for langsomt.Jeg kan ikke tale højt nok om begge mine oplevelser på Hotel Miranda. Jeg ville blive her igen om et sekund."

"Terrible! I left the rental house where I spent the holidays with my mother and my newborn daughter to spend the last 3 days of August in a hotel. I paid for the junior suite with a non-refundable rate days before and when we checked in we found it smelling of cigarette smoke. We were promised a solution but they simply aired the room for a couple of hours, with little improvement. Imagine the inconvenience of finding another place and moving all the luggage with a newborn! To this day I am still waiting for the refund of what I paid because they said it could not be issued at the time…"

"It's a nice and welcoming hotel, not too far from the city centre, but distant enough to be in a quiet area. The rooms are clean, fairly nice and cosy, but they are not very modern. The quality of the bedsheets is not the best, definitely can be improved. A big issues for me is that the rooms' doors are fire doors which close by themselves, so in the morning when the other guests go downstairs for breakfast it can be very noisy with all the slamming doors. A part from that in the evening is very quiet. The breakfast buffet is very generous, there are a lot of options and is quite tasty. The hotel is managed by the owner and his family, which are all very helpful and friendly. The hotel offers a few discounts for some restaurants and lido in town. Parking is a bit tricky, they have a few available spots, but then you won't be able to take the car everyday, so the best solution is to park on the road which can be difficult because there are not many parking spots available. If they update a bit the rooms and fix the problem with the slamming door I would be happy to come back. The price is fair considering location and quality of room and services. "
