"We spent seven wonderful nights at the JAZ Amaluna Beach Resort – Adults Only in Uroa, Zanzibar at the beginning of March 2026 and can absolutely recommend this hotel. We booked our trip through Schauinsland, and everything worked out perfectly. From the very first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The entire hotel is very clean and well maintained—you can really see everywhere how much importance is placed on quality. We were especially impressed by the fantastic food—varied, fresh, and simply delicious. Every day there was a great selection and something for every taste. The program and entertainment (Mr. Orthmann) were also very well organized and provided plenty of variety. You definitely won’t get bored here. The balance between relaxation and hotel activities was perfect. Our massages from Melissa were also a dream. However, the absolute highlight was the people in the room and service team—Rose, Jacob, Agness, Edson and Elisabeth. We have rarely experienced such friendly, warm, and helpful staff. You are always greeted with a smile and truly feel welcome. For us, the stay was absolutely perfect and exceptional—so clearly a grade 1 (excellent)! "Sidste dag her på Moonshine (Desværre), placeret direkte på stranden i Uroa, helt havfront, lille, essentielle men velfungerende hotel, ren, organiseret og især yderst venlig. Danilo, ejeren, en behagelig person at bytte to samtaler om aftenen og opdage med ham zanzibarin liv (udover at være god til at lave cocktail), vidunderlig strandbar hvor du tager en drink i afslapning. Jeg ville vende tilbage? Absolut. Det eneste råd, som jeg må tillade mig, er at forbedre morgenmadsudbuddet, som i øjeblikket er for minimalt for den europæiske kunde. Hakuna Matata, Alessandro og Marzia."
