"Stayed here on the last stop in our Camino journey. Lovely rustic posada with perhaps 8/10 rooms. While it is built on the side of what can be a busy road, with windows closed that issue was solved. Lovely breakfast provided following morning. The town is very small and on the night we visited there was only one restaurant to have dinner which however was delicious. No evening food available at the posada."

"This is not suitable for more than an overnight stay. Wardrobes are incredibly small and only long enough for shirts or blouses. Staff unhelpful would not get a hanging rail for us. Hughly disappointed with the hotel as the minimum stay was 3 nights. We have been travelling for weeks a and we're expecting a 4 star hotel to have facilities for unpacking clothes. Parking is not free at the hotel. There is no ice! And certainly no bar."

"Disappointing experience for pilgrims We stopped here for lunch today because the restaurant was advertised as being pilgrim-friendly, with special pilgrim menus. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to expectations. We ordered 2 burgers and 4 beers, costing €33. The burgers were disappointing: there was no sauce, no roasted tomatoes as advertised, and the buns were extremely thick and mostly stale. No salad or chips were included as an accompaniment. The service also felt rushed. The waitress stood waiting while we made our order, which made us feel uncomfortable, and later, after asking if we wanted dessert or coffee, she returned with the card machine before we had decided. For a restaurant promoting itself to pilgrims, we expected a warmer welcome and better value. Sadly, this was not the experience we had."

"We stayed here for the first as an overnight before catching the ferry from Santander. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was large well equipped and clean. The food in the restaurant was limited as we are veggie but we had the best veggie paella ever. There was limited time to explore the surroundings as we arrived late afternoon and had to leave by 1030 but it looked very interesting so much so that we are planning to return next year and allow ourselves more time."

"OUTSTANDING customer service!!! I ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend this hotel!!! My friends and I were walking on the Camino and when we arrived at Hosteria La Casona I confirmed that I lost my passport. The staff member at the Hosteria (tall gentleman with dark hair) was EXTREMELY helpful, and DIRECTLY responsible for my passport retrieval in a previous town we walked through. He called many different offices and locations to search for the passport. Had it not been for him I would have been required to travel to Madrid for a reissuance. I don't recall his name, but I cannot thank him enough. Thanks to the staff member and Hosteria La Casona for their awesome customer service for going above and beyond!!!!"

"The hotel is very beautiful, decorated with great taste. The cleaning is impecable. The staff is very friendly and helps you and gives advice to visit. Breakfast is delicious, as well as with several home posters and different types of coffee. We will return safe. The only thing, but perhaps it would be better to put a mampara in the bathroom, as the gardens are less hygienic and also tremendously long and look little bad when doing the shower, but nothing gave."
