"We stumbled across this magnificent place — Ascosa Relais sul Mare — while exploring Puglia, and what an incredible discovery it turned out to be! We were simply looking for somewhere to have a drink, but instead we found one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Even though the bar was officially closed, the Direttore, Emanuele Bassi, went above and beyond — he personally opened it up for us so we could sample some of their local offerings. And my goodness, did we sample well! Emanuele introduced us to a stunning local red wine called Susumaniello, produced right here in Puglia. What a revelation — a bold, full-bodied red that glides over your tongue and down your throat like liquid velvet. Absolutely divine! If you find yourself anywhere near this region, do yourself a favour and pop in to see Emanuele. His warmth, passion, and hospitality embody everything that makes Puglia so special. And whatever you do, don’t leave without tasting that amazing wine! Five stars all around — an unforgettable experience!"

"Vi nydte vores ophold grundigt.Det var uden sæson, så det var roligt.Alessandro er meget varm, vidensfuld og fleksibel.Vores værelse var rent og komfortabelt, og vi kunne lide at bruge tid på patio og spise de lækkere morgenmad udenfor. Vi gik gennem havet til slottet og katedralen, og vi gik også sydpå på vejen gennem vandet.Det var et smukt ophold.Vi håber at vende tilbage hertil."

"We loved the Queen Suite. For a short city trip it was excellent as located at the port, right in the heart of the city. Parking is possible close (in 300 m) in the street, you need to pay approx 2 eur/half day. We loved the breakfast (sweet pastries), some fruit or salty thing would have been make us even more happy. The suite itself is totally renovated and designer with good taste and with hight quality. Francesca was very helpful and gave us the keys when we arrived (before the official c/i time)."
