"This is truly a one of a kind, neely remodeled hotel located in the charming old town district, surrounded by historic buildings and a vibrant local market that creates an atmosphere full of character and nostalgia. One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending the mornings in the café, sipping excellent coffee while watching the market come to life outside the window. The hotel offers five unique specialty breakfast sets, and enjoying breakfast while overlooking the morning market was an experience unlike any other. The owners and entire staff were exceptional. TingTing, Wing, Mook, Wan, Kat, and everyone else we interacted with were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Our corner room was beautifully designed and appeared to have been recently remodeled. It featured smart lighting and air conditioning controls that could be operated right from the bed, a beautiful bathroom, and a spacious balcony overlooking the street below. We loved the room layout, the modern design, the hotel branding, and the stylish café atmosphere. The contrast between the sleek, contemporary interior and the historic old town surroundings created a unique blend of old and new. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the bed was very comfortable. We did have an issue with the hot water not being quite hot enough initially, but the staff immediately adjusted the water heater and resolved the problem. There were only a few minor drawbacks. Parking is not especially convenient, and because of the market below, it can get a bit noisy early in the morning as vendors begin setting up around 5:00 AM. The only thing really missing is a fitness center. Had there been a gym, this would easily have been a five star experience for us. Overall, this is a memorable boutique hotel with tremendous personality, wonderful staff, great food, and an atmosphere that you simply won’t find at a typical chain hotel. We would gladly stay here again."
