"Efter at have læst nogle af anmeldelserne var min partner og jeg bekymrede over vores tre dages stop.Vi burde ikke have.Vores værelse var rent og smukt, med vores eget badeværelse.Ikke perfekt, selvfølgelig, men det var kun £40 om natten for en lille dobbelt. Der er ingen brugbar udendørs pool eller varmt rør, som vist i ældre billeder.Der er imidlertid en indendørs pool og fantastisk sauna og damprum .... Jeg har aldrig haft dem på et hotel til den pris. Der var masser af te og kaffe i rummet og en hårtørrer også.Ingen morgenmad, men en kort gåtur væk er Applebys pub.De laver en fantastisk morgenmad fra 7:30. Der er gratis parkering på hotellet for 7 biler, men parkering er også tilgængelig på gaden.Dette var en fantastisk base for os og kan gå til flåden."

"Our room was spacious, sparkling clean, checked every day and updated, tea and coffee supplied, and with a truly excellent breakfast, included in our price. We chose to eat there three out of our four nights - OMG amazing fine dining. Beautiful food, really excellent thank you. Excellent staff too, on the desk, in the restaurant and housekeeping."

Very clean and tidy and decor very nice, just a very relaxing and calm place to stay. Lovely, pretty little pool area with sunloungers. Would definitely recommend and stay again"

"Lovely convenient place, reasonably priced. Only downside is Room 43. No air in room, bed was the most uncomfoftable one we have ever stopped in. New mattress needed. Shower was ok, but again it was part broken, so you couldn't raise it. Looks like it's been like that for years judging by colour of tarnished yellow of fixings. Brekkies were pay as you go, just pay reception in morning. 8.50 each. No coffee machine, just sachets. Sausages and bacon was a vast improvement on what I had last time I visited. I would stay again, but NOT room 43"

"Stayed here for 3 nights. Booked a premier plus room and found that my room was good. It was clean and a good size. I really liked the style of the building and the beer garden & terraces which is what made me book this hotel. Although, as i was looking around, i felt it was a shame that the upkeep on the premises wasn't really kept up to its full potential. The building itself is actually really beautiful but needs a new paint job. The grounds and terraces i felt wasnt looked after enough. Some more plants and landscaping need attention. Rubbish not being picked up and random old umbrellas just lying on the floor rather than stored. Random old tables & chairs just scrapped but not hidden or disposed of. Just get rid of them all if you're not using them, its making you look lazy. Not only that, it's not a great sight to look at out your bedroom windows. Have a tidy up and deep clean, then it will be better. I was thinking about doing it myself at one point. The tables in the restaurant were sticky. I found the service from all members of staff very good and they did work long days i noticed. They were all polite and friendly. Please pass on my thanks to them for their customer service. The food was also very nice and came to our table quickly. After all my points above, it wouldn't stop me from staying again. I liked it here. Just please tidy up. Its such a beautiful building. Thankyou for my stay"

"Arrived on Wednesday 1st July after booking the previous Friday. Hosts Pete and Helen make you feel very welcome and have lots of returning guests which speaks volumes. Our room was decorated to a high standard with a comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was first class with lots of options there, something for everyone. The accommodation is only a short walk from the harbour and town centre."

"On arrival, the greeting at the door was like that of an old friend returning after a long journey. The Gresham Court hotel is perfectly situated close to Torquay Museum and is a short walk from a park, harbour, shops, restaurants, theatre and beach. The building is attractive and beautifully decorated inside and out, with a lovely courtyard garden next to the front entrance. My time at the hotel was made special by the family who run it. They went out of their way to provide the best hospitality, excellent meals, a full range of beverages and the extra finishing touches made it a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout. I heartily recommend the Gresham Court Hotel to all, from weary travellers to anyone looking to have a lovely holiday by the seaside. It is a wonderful place to stay. I cannot praise this family run hotel highly enough."
