Crofton House Hotel

"Vi ankom til hotellet for at checke ind, Hassan hilser os og checkede ind, gav os alle de oplysninger, vi havde brug for, og pegede os i retning af vores værelse. Kodeindgangen til hotellet og rummet var fremragende, kun en lille kode at huske, snarere end en nøgle.Værelset var rent, tidligt og havde alt, hvad vi havde brug for til vores 3-nat-ophold. Hotellets sauna, damprum og indendørs swimmingpool var en smuk bonus, og vi brugte den hver dag.Udendørs pool var ikke tilgængelig, da det ikke er sommer. Hotellet havde også en smuk have og udendørs plads og borde og en indendørs fælles lounge, poolbord og dart.Hassan var så venlig og velkommen, altid tager tid til at sikre, at vi var okay, tak Hassan for et smukt ophold."

The Hotel Balmoral - Just for Adults

"This was our second stay at the Balmoral and was as enjoyable as the first. The staff without exception, were welcoming, helpful, and polite. Our bedroom was spacious and very nicely furnished. The food was excellent served in a large attractive restaurant. The large garden and terrace were very inviting. The hotel is situated in a lovely area of Torquay."

"Welcoming and the evening meals are lovely. Breakfast is overdone, bacon very salty. Not thorough on cleaning. Went for breakfast and sat in the same seats from the night before to find food on the flood that had not been cleaned up. 3 bedroom hotel room had clean linen and towels but the floor was covered in dog hair and the table sticky. Where the tea and coffee was refilled it had not been cleaned and was thick with dust. Cups used and filthy. Bathroom had hairs in the bath, dirty marks by the toilet paper holder and on the bed runner there was stains and tbh I don't know what it was but it was disgusting. Spoke to the assistant manager and she wasn't concerned in the slightest, no apologies or anything. Got given glasses with lipstick stains on. It is outdated, worn and smells fousty. Do not recommend staying there. It was noisy when people were locking doors and walking upstairs. For the money I think its appalling. I would not recommend."

"This guesthouse is stunning, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. One of the most beautiful I’ve stayed in . I was lucky enough to get a parking space to the rear of the property but there is additional on road parking very close . The house is close to pubs and restaurants and 7 mins from the sea. I had my fears about being at the front on a fairly busy road, but the high quality double glazing keeps most noise out and the road is quiet after 10pm . The hosts offer a lot of choice for breakfast , I’m a full English man and what I was served was high quality components cooked very skilfully . The bed and its bedding were high quality items , we slept so well . There was a mini bar / snacks in the room that you can enjoy and pay for . The hosts have thought of everything . A 10/10 stay ."
