"The proprietress is very good and is a Hong Konger. When we heard that we spoke Chinese, we were particularly enthusiastic. In Chinese, we were introduced to us: there is an airport for the US military in World War II. It is now a glider training ground. There is an aircraft museum. Let us go and see it. Maybe you can see it at night by the Murray River, a koala. The room is also large and clean. I wanted to live in Ichuka, but on the weekend, there was no room. The result gave us a big surprise."

"4 of us stayed in adjoining rooms. The place is clean and spacious and well ventilated, bright with ample windows. There were 4 beds there ! The beddings are fresh and bed is so comfortable. The kitchenette is complete with utensils. We enjoyed sitting at the breakfast table for 4. Outside the room, there’s a nice bench for you to sit and relax too. We will be back if we visit the area again !"

"I visited kingwood motel with my family. The experience was very nice and lovely. The place was very beautiful. The room was very clean and hygiene. The staff was really nice and friendly. The atmosphere was very lovely the noise level pretty much quite. Next to the motel their was a very beautiful location of riverboat that is amazing. We would love to visited again."

"Motel surroundings unkempt and unappealing. Room decor very dated but in good condition. Reception not signposted (it’s to the left of Room 1). Front of motel facing onto main road looks derelict. Considerable truck traffic noise from main road - ask for a room at rear of property. Fridge in room is noisy. No power socket on right side of bed for electric blanket on bed or clock radio. NOTE: Photos online of rooms DO NOT match what we stayed in at all. Photos online show very nice decor - we stayed in Room 1 and decor was old and tired. I believe the motel has acquired new owners and become very run down. Pool area looks neglected. Photos of rooms on the motel website look much nicer and with completely different decor and furniture to the room we stayed in. However, room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable, shower was good. If you are not fussy about decor and ambiance, or on a tight budget, this motel is adequate (just)."

"My wife and I stayed for two nights whilst attending the Tocumwal Airshow. It's one of the top three regional accommodation places that we have experienced during the last 25 years. The units are modern, clean and spacious. It has well-maintained, neat grounds, with useful facilities such as a swimming pool, BBQs, laundry, etc. An easy 20-minute walk into town. We would not hesitate to recommend it and will stay here again for the next airshow."

"I really liked this motel for the convenience to the golf club but especially the friendliness of the staff and the welcoming text with all the information we needed. The room was adequate but the shower was hot and excellent. Good hairdryer and aircon warmed up quickly. Also extra pillows which I like. Very goof value for the price"
