"Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great experience from start to finish. Specially when you get to wake up to El Castillo from your room and be surrounded by so much greenery all the time! And with a fantastic large pool! There were very few people and it's so close to Chichen Itza and it took us 3 mins to get to the new entrance at 8am and we were done by 11 and picked up by the shuttle for 100 pesos for 2 pax. Everything went so well, including the free pickup and drop to the Tren Maya station, to the room service, and to the people in the property always with a smile and happy to help (except for one disinterested lady at the reception). We ordered room service all days and liked everything we consumed, except for the grilled chicken which felt too dry sometimes. The breakfast dishes were also quite good. Would definitely recommend!"

"A hotel rated 4/5 at €50 a night 5 minutes from the Chichen Itza site! We should have suspected there was a wolf. Certainly a beautiful infrastructure... but Covid must have been there. Everything is abandoned, in disrepair. The palm leaf roofs have collapsed, the pools are without water, the main pool is nice, but we hesitate to share it with insects as big as a hand, the bed was broken (and my wife's back too the next day), the reception is out of the way and the staff escorts us on a motorbike on the dirt road, the restaurant is lousy, the breakfast conceptual. The staff: two guys good at everything, very dirty, a woman at the reception who is better not to ask anything. Move on."

Don’t let the 1km unpaved access road intimidate you (we were at first); as you approach, the stunning building emerges like a sparkling reward at the end of the tunnel! 😀 One side offers a glimpse of the Mayan pyramid’s peak—pure magic! The other side overlooks the spacious pool and lush gardens. No matter your room’s view, you’re in for a treat. All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Room service is a steal—totally worth it. The pool is inviting, though the water felt just a touch chilly to me."
