"We expected a 5-star experience, but it was far from it and we returned home with a huge disappointment. Mosquitoes & Bees: The hotel is located near a swamp, meaning it is infested with millions of mosquitoes. My entire family, including my young children, got bitten all over their bodies and faces. The kids were crying and scratching throughout the whole trip. During the day there are many bees, making it impossible to sit outside in the afternoon/evening. Mice in the room: In the middle of the night, I saw a mouse that had probably been in our room since day one. My young children were terrified and started crying. I had to wake up the whole family and pack all our bags at midnight to move to an alternative room. No kids' activities: There is almost nothing for children to do. There is no indoor play area or air-conditioned arts and crafts room for them. Towel service: Most of the time, the towel station at the beach is empty. The staff member ran out of towels and had to leave his post to fetch more. Location & Transit: The hotel is very isolated, which strictly requires having a car to get around. Additionally, the car rental prices offered directly by the hotel are quite expensive. Poor drinks quality: The tap water taste is terrible and undrinkable, including the bottled water in the minibar. The soft drinks from the machines are overly sweet and taste very cheap. For a 5-star hotel, we expected proper, quality beverages.Bottom line: There is a significant gap between the professional photos on the website and the actual experience in reality. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations for a 5-star resort."

"Wonderful place in Roda, Corfu. Ideal for families with kids and small pet dogs. Everything was wonderful! Yvonne is very nice and very helpful! Cleaning services everyday and a very nice big garden, ehere your kids can play. Very lovely place. Definitely recommend!"

"Min kone og jeg blev i soveværelset lige på stranden, det var helt fantastisk!Perfekt til en særlig lejlighed! At se solen sætter sig om natten, mens der er nogle drinks ude bagfra, så gå over til Petra's for nogle af de smukkeste mad, vi nogensinde har haft i Korfu (og vi kommer A LOT) Området var ekstremt roligt og fredeligt. At høre havet om natten er fantastisk, mens du sover.Værelset var så ren og endda bedre end billederne på hjemmesiden!Personalet var super venligt og hjalp os med at booke udflugter og taxier osv. Cocktails er god kvalitet, og morgenmad var lækker!Bedøven fyldte os hele dagen indtil middag!Vi kan ikke fejle dette sted.Jeg ville sige, at den eneste nedgang er mosquitos om natten, men bare få noget spray, og du vil være stor!lol"

"We have spent a week in the hotel - the price was about 900 EUR for 2 persons, all-inclusive board included. Under these conditions, the price value ratio was excellent. The hotel used to be very fancy, now it is rather 2 - 3 stars standard. Rooms have basic equipment. The food is tasty, 3-5 main dishes, 2-3 side dishes, a salad bar, beer, wine, local liquor based drinks. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The beach is the best in the entire neighbourhood. The overall experience was very good."

"Another fabulous holiday at Villa Eleni, I cannot praise this accommodation enough. My husband and I had a two bedroom apartment which had every facility we could wish for. I'm almost frightened to praise it too much incase it gets booked out! Eleni, Socrates and Nikos are perfect hosts, they make everyone feel special and constantly ask if there's anything we need. Often we got lovely surprises of delicious cakes along with a welcome pack of water, juice and cookies. Toiletries are provided as is a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. The apartment is central to everything we loved, a beautiful beach, brilliant restaurants and evening entertainment. We were so sorry to leave but we will return next year and have booked to come back in June and September. Thanks so much Eleni and your lovely family for everything. Love Marion and Stewart. "
