"We had a truly wonderful 6-day stay at Grecian Sea! Everything was perfect. Georgia, the owner, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available when needed. She even allowed us to check in much earlier than scheduled, which we greatly appreciated. The place was spotless — towels and bed linens were changed during our stay, and the house was always clean and fresh. There’s also a lovely garden where you can relax, socialize, and even enjoy a BBQ. It really felt like home! The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk to the sea and only 2 minutes away from shops and markets. Thank you so much, Georgia, for everything. It was a beautiful experience, and we would definitely love to come back!"

"This is the Four Star hotel without a doubt! The view, the rooms, the cleanest, the food, the stuff - everything is great here! The stuff is amazing, they re-scheduled our dates without a problem. The rooms are cleaned every day, towels changed. The food is various and very delicious. The view is great on the mountain, in front of the sea. The beach is nearby only in by car. We appreciate very much that they preserve the oil trees, and everywhere is super green and fresh and flourishing. I recommend the stay for families and kids."

"Amazing hotel, we arrived late at night in August. Our room was number 207 in the newest block and it was perfectly clean. Very quiet place and wonderful. The hotel includes a big pool and a smaller for kids, water was clean and sunbeds were free. We had breakfast and dinner in our price, both were delicious with variety to choose. We stayed 5 nights. All were perfect. Thank you everyone."

"We stayed at this hotel end of Aug, staff were lovely and helpful the guy who manages the restaurant never stops he deserves a medal. Hotel is about 1yr old all very modern, the rooms are very nicely done there is a fancy wall on the ceiling and behind the bed ( didn’t pass the dust test ) the bed was quite comfortable but the pillows were like sleeping on a brick , the rooms are small but it’s enough they don’t have any drawers in the room so no where to keep underwear/ swimwear they have a fridge and coffee machine, the coffee wasn’t always replenished we just had to keep asking for more .all rooms face the sea we had a beautiful view and listening to the sea in the evening is the best sound the balcony was lovely to sit on and quite big it’s the best sea view I have ever had . Breakfast at the hotel was disappointing for me as they didn’t have any nuts/ seeds or croissants, the bread was nice and fresh , they have 3 cereals to choose from cornflake/ choc cereal and oats if you wanted bacon u just had to ask and they made it fresh for you , the beans were cold not sure if they were meant to be cold or not they made coffee/tea / fresh orange to order , there is enough to choose from and to keep you going till lunch . The Sunbeds are free to use on the beach very comfortable and thick but you were asked not to bring your own food or drinks on the beach , felt sorry for the young girl waiting for drink/ food order on the beach as uniform was long pants she was obviously too hot and she was so lovely. There is a 10min walk into town plenty of restaurants to choose from . During the day if you have food especially meat the wasps just swarm around you no wasps in the evening . If you want to go to thassos this is a nice hotel in a perfect setting."

"Hotel Alexandra Beach ligger i en stor beliggenhed - ved stranden inden for gåafstand fra en landsby og en paveret sti til landsbyen på den anden side, der er ca. 40 minutter væk.. Vi fandt det en meget afslappet atmosfære, rolig og fredelig, da vi gik i midten af maj.Værelset var meget godt rummeligt med et stort badeværelse med gå i bruser og der var en god størrelse balkon.Maden var fremragende med en række valg. Det eneste, vi fandt, da vi er vegetarer, var, at etiketterne kunne have været klarere med hensyn til, hvad der var kød.Personalet var meget hjælpsomt og venligt.Hele resorten var meget ren."

"This hotel was the best i have ever been with my family. It is very quiet here and the beach is very clean and beautiful. The closest city is cca 2 km by car. If you need car, you can rent one or ask on the reception and reserve a ride by hotel car. The drivers are very nice and the whole staff is very skilful. Staff is very friendly and polite and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone."

"A Lovely quiet hotel, beautiful location right on the beach. A short walk (10 mins) either way from the hotel takes you to the Tavernas and restaurants which serve excellent fresh food. Hotel very quirky, clean and rooms beautifully decorated. Fabulous buffet breakfast and the local bread was amazing, as is all the staff, Joanna was a very happy soul always smiling and helpful. Left a tip in a quirky frog money-box by the tables and hope it is found and not just an ornament? Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to go back there. Our one and only problem was getting into the very high sided bath which is the shower too because we are in our late 70’s it was not easy and could have caused us to fall trying to get out. "Four of us stayed for seven nights in mid-June 2024. Two adults and two sixteen-year-old lads. We arrived at the Hotel Bonanza at around 12.30 am. The man on reception was very friendly and put us at ease. We were given a packed lunch each and told we were staying at Canarife Palace a bit further down the road. The packed lunch consisted of a slice of ham and cheese between two slices of dried bread, an apple, a bottle of water, and a packet of biscuits. The biscuits were nice! The Hotel Bonanza reception area was very clean and modern. This filled us with hope. We arrived at Canarife and were met with another friendly member of staff. Again, the reception area was spacious, clean and modern. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony view looking over the pool areas. The room made me feel a bit like a time traveler, going from modern, white surroundings into a room that gave off a look and aroma of the 1970s. We had a large bed, solid and comfy so no complaints there. We had read many reviews about bed bugs before coming so we stripped the covers back to inspect. Thankfully no sign of any. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom with shower/bath. The shower gave off enough power and heat. The small fridge was not working with a smell of what I can only describe as the smell of death that had been trapped in a Tupperware tub! Never to be opened again for the rest of the stay! We did have a few bed bugs throughout the week, but nothing to get hysterical about, and an understanding we are in a hot country so bugs are always going to be inevitable. I did not see one cockroach or any other unwelcome visitor throughout the week. The food became a bit repetitive after the first two days. Again, this is likely to be us being a bit fussy, well one of the lads was certainly that! There is not much order when it comes to the layout, but I didn’t find it too stressful. I think we accepted that early on not all nations share the British etiquette when it comes to lining up or waiting turns. The entertainment was a mixture of female Vic Reeves style club singer on a Sunday night to a party for the kids with some heavy dance music with a bit of effing and jeffing. The daytime entertainment isn’t exactly enthralling, and to be honest, it seems to be targeted at other Nationalities rather than the Brits. Having said that, I felt all the staff were really friendly and helpful throughout. The surrounding area is pretty good with plenty of shops, bars, and places to eat on the road outside the hotel. The main town and beach are a bit of a trek, but well worth doing, especially going downhill. I would advise an iron lung on standby for the walk back up. Overall, I would rate the Blue Sea Resort (Canarife Palace) 7/10."
