"Spotlessly clean hotel with extremely welcoming staff. Swimming pools were a bit cold but that’s the only downside. Breakfast selection was very comprehensive. It’s a slight downhill walk into town so prepare for an uphill walk back. 2nd time here and will definitely be back."

"Negative points: The beds weren't very comfortable for two people as they weren't properly joined. The showers could also be improved; you have to press the button every three seconds to get water, and there's no hose, so the spray is constant. The room said it overlooked a courtyard, but it actually overlooks a common area where anyone passing by can see you. Check-in was quite late. The soundproofing could also be better. Positive points: Friendliness at reception Breakfast included Quite good location, just a bit tricky to park sometimes, but they do have a parking space available Location: Umbrellas available for rent and in common areas"

"The hotel is a beautiful one, no doubt about it, but there are a few things that I wasn't happy with. It is like most things you need to pay for. Needed to iron my clothes, I was told that I needed to pay for the service due to safety issues. Will get my stuff in 48 hours. If I wanted it earlier, I had to pay more. To get to the beach, I was i formed that I need to pay for a ferry to get me across... all this should have been said before a persons book. The hotel is a secluded, nice area. In order to navigate a taxi is a must unless one wants to walk for 30 minutes in the scrotching sun to catch the train or bus. Uber service is better than the taxi you would get from the airport as it is costly. The food was good, in terms of variety ilI would say no, but it terms of taste yes great. Kudos to the chef. Staff are very helpful and understanding. Some drinks, however, are watered down. I love pina Colada, but wow, i had no clue what I got there. Apart from that, I had a lovely stay, entertainment, the rooftop, top superb ( was there every evening)."

"the place is very nice, the structures are small and dated, the furniture is old, ugly and not very comfortable, the cleaning is excellent, change of linen and towels every morning, well served with bar, restaurant, swimming pool, large space for children, tennis court and various games, includes train tickets to go to the beach, the parking is near the house, green maintenance is excellent, my experience is the second and I think I will not return there is no quality/price ratio"

"I had a reservation for one adult and two children. When I arrived at reception, it was listed as a two-person reservation. They immediately resolved the issue, but the room only had two beds, and they didn't resolve the issue. When I arrived for breakfast, my reservation wasn't listed, and we had trouble getting in. The room's air conditioning wasn't working. Terrible check-in information. They didn't even inform you about the Wi-Fi, breakfast hours, or the restaurant's location. Excessive wait times for check-in or check-out, lines to get to breakfast, and no pool loungers available."

Der er masser af madsorter, så selv den mest valgte ether vil nyde noget.Der er en båd til at binge dig til den lokale strand.Bådkørsel tager omkring 30 sekunder. Fremragende faciliteter, vi havde poolen for os selv mest af tiden og nydte afslapning på loungen og nydte freden og rolige og søde udsigter.Du kan vælge, hvor du kan have din morgenmad i de områder, der var frisk forberedt hver dag. Vi hyrede en motorcykel (fra et andet selskab, Sunride), så vi hurtigt kunne pop ind i byen for fremragende og velpriste måltider.Vi kunne også nemt komme til havnen for at hoppe på færgen for at tilbringe dagen på stranden, hvor der også er store restauranter. Dette sted giver dig det bedste af begge verdener for at slappe af i dagen, men tæt nok på byen og stranden, hvis du vil.Højt anbefales og håber at vende tilbage igen."

"The rooms were small and poorly cleaned. We even had to change rooms because of dirt on the curtains, and we found hair on the bed and pillows. Towels were consistently missing, a problem we observed multiple times. The pool restrooms were always heavily soiled with urine. The food was good, and the experience at both restaurants was incredible. The pool temperature was great, but it was off-putting to see it full of hair. Mosquitoes were also a major issue; even with repellent, they were relentless."

"A few things let this place down. Room is a good size with fridge, balcony and bath, but also broken fittings and plastic mattress protectors that rustle. You have to book the spa (can usually do that for immediate use tho!) and women have to buy a swim cap for the pool (none of this is written down or explained anywhere, despite reception saying they did when I suggested they put this info in the room). Inside pool, 'jazzui' and 'turkish bath' (steam room) are included for guests. Breakfast had plenty of choice but only the fresh orange juice stood out - very average ingredients all round. Much cheaper to stay in Monte Gordo for the same facilities."

"The Palacio de Tavira is well located - just minutes away from the city centre. Rooms are comfortable and the entire hotel Is tastefully decorated. Drinks at the bar and a meal at their Mirsal restaurant are highly recommended. Staff are welcoming and friendly, and breakfast is great with a choice of main course alongside a generous buffet spread. To top it all off, the Luma spa inside is lovely - Cristina, the Spa Supervisor, gives the best massages. Be sure not to miss a treatment or two or more there. All in all, a wonderful hotel."
