"Awful experience - arrived at the hotel to be informed it was overbooked and the lodge we had booked was unavailable. No prior communication and said they had just hoped there was a cancellation instead which would've resolved for them. Hotel reservation manager was unhelpful, unapologetic and very unprofessional. They offered instead to book us into an alternative hotel in Agadir which was nowhere close to the same standard, and instead provided accommodation for one night in their basic room type. Finally resolved the next day as they instead let us stay in the same room which unfortunately meant whoever had booked it would've faced the same issue as us - which seemed to be a common issue. However the room offered was situated right next to the bird enclosure of the zoo which meant putting up with the constant noise from the birds which prevented getting a good night of sleep over the holiday. Stingy with water provided (one bottle a day), and the very limited food options for breakfast/dinner were repetitive and unimaginative. Staff speak very basic English so wouldn't advise if you cant speak French. Will not be returning and absolutely wouldn't recommend staying here at all."

With regard to meals and breakfasts, Annick is a non-parent cook, and we have enjoyed a wide range of Moroccan local gastronomy with a service that is always careful and jovial .... for the amateurs ( among others): Various tajines, Harira, msemen, bakhrir, confectionery, local honey ... We have loved our stay, and we will not forget Annick and Marc who are two exceptional people . We warmly recommend the Riad Anma and hope to come back to it soon ."

"We stopped at this inn as part of a family overnight stay. The room for 4 was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom was old-fashioned but functional. The welcome was professional and the breakfast generous. The service was as warm as the temperature, which was very much appreciated. The children were able to swim in a pool that was clean and maintained. Hiking is possible nearby, but that wasn't the purpose of our visit. The door frames are made of wood, so the exterior insulation isn't great when trucks pass by. Ask for a room on the pool side. Very good value for money."

"Despite its pleasant surroundings, this place doesn't live up to its ambitions. It's far from the city of Taroudant. Parking is far from the restaurant and reception. The meal is average and expensive (basic couscous for 100 dirhams), and there's no choice of alcohol. The staff service is amateurish. The prices are too high for Morocco."
