"A cozy hotel by the sea. Nice clean territory. The room furnishings are very simple, nothing more. The prices in the restaurant are quite high, the average price of a main course is USD25-30. When the sausages for breakfast ran out, they made a good discount, that's fair. However here are no other restaurants nearby."

"Poor service, room is okay, location is good. Friday, when I arrived the hotel, I asked the reception to check whether there is an earlier tour to the blue cave on Sunday, they said they checked for me, but they didn’t until Saturday night after followed up. Luckily I managed to get another agent to do it for me or otherwise I don’t think I could make the tour. Also, I ordered 4 dishes for dinner but they only served 3, I waited an hour for the 4th dish but turned out they forgot to cook it. How can you miss orders while total number of people having dinner is less than 10…."

"My stay in Charlie’s village was simply perfect! Right from the start, Charlie was super responsive and helpful. On my arrival at the airport, George and Malina came to pick us up. They were super sweet and helpful, they drove us around the island during our time there and navigated the bumpy roads near the volcano very well! The bungalow itself was perfect. It was simple, but had everything I needed and was very cozy. Charlie was even able to provide me with excellent WIFI, which had me surprised considering the remoteness of the village. Charlie’s wife cooked us delicious and filling meals for dinner and breakfast ( Do carry cash on you to pay for transport fees and meals!) Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I was amazed by Tanna’s natural beauty, but even more so by the wonderful people that inhabit it. Charlie and his village were kind hearted and I felt right at home with them. Making the trip out to Tanna may seem daunting or hard to organize, but I promise you it’s well worth it, and you will get to experience it in all its glory by staying with Charlie!"

"Vi boede seks dage med John, Veronique og deres søn John Mark og var så glade for at vælge denne lille strandfront operation i stedet for en stor resort. Stor beliggenhed, i en lille landsby i Lowanatum, en hurtig lokal bustur til Lanakel Markets, butikker og Tamanu restaurant (stor pina coladas!).John hjalp os virkelig meget med vores planer, så større resorts ville betale meget mere for. Han arrangerede vulkanturen, Port Resolution, Yakel Kastom landsby og endda en madlektion, fordi jeg ville vide, hvordan man laver Vanuatu snack Simboro. Hans kone Veronique arrangerede en inpromtu danseshow fra sin kvindelige dansgruppe.Vi har også betalt et besøg på den lokale Kava bar 🤪 Hvis vi ikke havde afsluttet her, tror jeg, at besøget på Tanna ville have været meget vanskeligere og dyrere - en lille gem af Et sted.P.S.Hvis du besøger fra Storbritannien, vil du bringe en engelsk fodbold skjorte, han støtter dem, og fodbold er enormt på Tanna.P.s."
