Om natten, da du havde mulighed for at dele køkkenet blev naturligt givet at gøre venner med dem, som vi så gik på tur og praktiserede surfing på nogle nærliggende strande. Værelserne er meget behagelige, meget komfortabel soveværelse. Noget, jeg ønsker at fremhæve er varmt vand bruser, der ikke altid tilbydes i Costa Rica, og efter surfing en varmt brusebad er det bedste. Jeg kommer tilbage!"

"Terrible place to stay. DO NOT STAY HERE! It is honestly a safety concern. The bathroom of our room stopped working so maintenance came to fix it and they let us change rooms. This morning we had all of our belongings. We securely lock the rooms before every time we left. The next morning when we were leaving we realized FOUR LAPTOPS WERE MISSING AND CASH. Nothing was out in the open, they were all secured in our backpacks. We were furious and very scared and we talked to the owners. We NEVER took our laptops outside of our room, and yet they were yelling at us that they didn't do it, and that their employees never would. It sounded like they were defending themselves, instead of trying to help us. We told them to question their employees... because who else?.. and instead of sayin yes they just would yell at us at how they have the best employees who would never. You never know. There is NO cameras (why would you not have cameras at a hotel) or proper security to show the police it was them, but keep in mind the property is very small so you can see almost anything from the front desk. They said such rude things to us. He said "I don't think you locked your door properly," "I don't know who you brought around here," and "I don't know maybe you took your laptop to the beach and now you are blaming us," and worst "My laptop is always at the front desk. Why didn't someone steal mine?" Worst experience in my life and scary too especially as 4 women. We know the staff of the hotel stole from us, because our doors were ALWAYS locked but unfortunately we have no proof."

"What a special location !! My family and I had a wonderful time at Mar Botànico. Everybody was so nice to us. The room was confortable, well decorated and so peaceful. The activities we initially planned were cancelled, so the hotel booked some new ones for us. We surfed and visited the area by horse, it was magical. Thank you to the whole team, we cannot wait to come back this winter."

"I encourage any couples or people who enjoy a spotless, quiet spot, within 5mns of the hustle and bustle of what Tamarindo offers to stay at L'Avventura. My wife and I spent 2 days and nights there recently and were more then pleasantly suprised with how great the building is, how convenient the location is, and how great the communication is with the owners and their team. I would not hesitate to stay there again when we head back to Costa Rica. Its that nice. Really can't complain about anthying to be honest. Wildlife outside your doors (we had a Howler Monkey dangling from a tree our first morning within steps of the front door), beautiful sight lines and an amazingly clean, modern and stylish unit. Great restaurants and grocery stores within a 5-10mns walk down the hill/streets."
