Mahua Kothi Bandhavgarh - A Taj Safari Lodge ★★★★★

"When booking, I was not quite sure what to expect. Google Maps is vague. When getting closer, the road to the hotel became a mud road (The hotel is bordering the tiger reserve, so they have limitations on what they can build). So, I became nervous. But I was in very good hands. Very nice staff, very clean, nice food, nice veranda. I could not have wished for more. Since I booked rather late, I was lucky to get park tickets at all. It was literally a lottery in my case. The hotel checked every night, and I was then able to enjoy multiple safaris. So, two full days just in a 'flow' state. For the morning and afternoon safaris, the jeeps get assigned a zone by the park the night before. I was 2x in Zone 1, 1x in Zone 2, 1x in Zone 3. Not all of them resulted in a tiger sight. They still are wild animals. I skipped the full day safaris. Those are expensive already from the park side of things. They are targeted for professional and those are allowed to change zones during the day. That is increasing the chances, but I skipped. I was happy with the two full days and 4 safaris."

"Family-Friendly Fun We had an incredible time at Wild Tiger Resort! The food was delicious, and we loved the diverse menu options. The swimming pool was fantastic for both kids and adults, providing endless fun. The lawn area was perfect for lounging and enjoying the outdoors, and the recreational activities were a great way to bond with friends. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. We can't recommend this place enough for a memorable getaway!"

"I had a wonderful 6-night stay in April, and this was my second time staying at the property. Once again, it lived up to my expectations. The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, cleanliness was excellent, and the service was attentive throughout my stay. The property is easy to access, and the Wi-Fi worked smoothly in both the reception area and the restaurant. "Wonderful stay at Syna Tiger Resort in Bandhavgarh. We stayed in one of the suites, which was incredibly spacious and very comfortable after long game drives. One of my favourite parts of the property was the outdoor dining experience. Watching the chefs prepare everything fresh while enjoying meals in the beautiful open-air setting made the meal feel special. The resort also has a unique concept where different rooms are themed around different Indian states, such as Rajasthan, Kerala, Karnataka and Gujarat. It was fun walking around and seeing the different designs, and I think families with children would especially enjoy this thoughtful touch. We were also lucky enough to have some fantastic tiger sightings during our stay, making the trip even more memorable. Lastly, the hospitality was excellent. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive and always happy to help, making us feel very well looked after throughout our stay."
