A popular internet-famous ice cream shop is also nearby. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the bathroom is bright with good water pressure. However, the toilet area itself is indeed very small and narrow. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, willing to assist with services like luggage storage."

"The hotel room was clean and basic for the most part and a few small bugs in the bathroom, but nothing major. 4 bottles of water are included and slippers. Beds are firm and comfortable and pillows are ok. However, if you are allergic to napthelene (moth balls), then stay away as the place is strong smelling of moth balls though the room doesn't have a closet or wardrobe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The bathroom is very basic without a door rack to hang your clothes and the shower partition is only enough to shield the toilet from splashes and without any sliding doors. Toilet doesn't accept toilet paper, so you'll need to put into the provided waste basket. The young lady at the counter was generally helpful, but in a basic kind of way. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the Taiwan railway station in "downtown" kind of area. The lobby looked big, clean, and decent with a "putting green" off to the side. The room is quiet, though there are people talking loudly as they check in late at night. The lobby “free wifi” connects, but has no internet service. Room wifi is unsecured, so make sure you have a vpn or use it for unimportant things. They also provide a free luggage storage service before you check in so you can sightsee without lugging your luggage around town. Overall, it’s a good choice for a basic short stay at a very convenient location. The price is also very good. Recommended choice for your next Tainan trip."

"I really liked the location, as many of the places I wanted to visit were within walking distance. It was also convenient to have a water dispenser on the premises. My room was bright with a large window. The bed and pillows were just right :) —not too hard and not too soft. Shampoo and body wash are provided in the shower room, but it would have been even better if there had been hand soap at the sink."

"Great location, just a few minutes walk from Tainan Station, and it's pretty quiet. The room itself was decent. We only got one bottle of water because we didn't plan on needing more the next day, but usually, they give two. When I asked for a single dental floss, they said they couldn't give it to me and that I'd have to buy a whole dental kit for 50 NTD. Annoying."

"You can tell it's an old hotel that's been renovated. The location is convenient, right in front of the station, about a ten-minute walk away. However, there's a damp smell throughout the hotel that you can notice as soon as you walk in. There are basically no facilities, so it's perfectly fine for just a night's sleep. It would be even better if they could improve the air circulation in the lobby and rooms."

"The location is very convenient and the hotel room is mostly clean and quiet. However, there are so many items and amenities missing from the room which require an additional fee. I wasn't keen on the 4pm check in time which was too late. The bathroom had a weird smell and the hot water took a long time to come on. the shower drain also blocked easily and the bottom sill of the door was also loose. I think this particular section of the hotel was only recently opened or refurbished."
