"Hotel room was clean and cozy with daily housekeeping services. Staff were very helpful and friendly. check-in was a breeze but there’s no priority for amazzing club stars members even though there was a signage indicated at reception. Breakfast spread was great and there’s a playroom at level 5. There is coin laundry available but the dryer was pretty weak, my clothes remained damped after a 90 mins cycle (paid ntd10 per 10 mins). Hotel is beside shin kong Mitsukoshi so it’s really convenient."

"Hotellets beliggenhed er fantastisk, nær Shennong Street. Det værelse, vi boede i denne gang, vendte dog ud mod hovedvejen, hvilket var ret støjende. Manglen på lufttætte vinduer betød, at støjen fra de mange ombyggede biler var irriterende sent om aftenen. Det nærliggende tempel forårsagede også yderligere støj fra morgenrøgelse og fyrværkeri. Værelset var generelt rent, selvom lidt opmærksomhed på detaljerne ville have været nyttigt. Stofsofaen på værelset havde synlige pletter. Vandtrykket i badeværelset på anden sal var fremragende, men brusehovedet var forfærdeligt med mug og snavs langs kanterne. Vandet var tilstoppet og sprøjtede overalt! Det var ekstremt vanskeligt at rengøre, så jeg anbefaler at medbringe dit eget reservebrusehoved, når du bor der."

"Great value for money!! You get a bigger discount if you stay multiple nights. The AC works perfectly. Hot water is consistent. The bathroom is pretty clean. It was a bit dusty. They're renovating, so some amenities are missing, lol. There's a coin laundry on the top floor. But the value for money is excellent. When you're traveling in Taiwan, you're out and about all day anyway, right? It's perfectly fine if you just need a place to sleep here, even for a nap. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby. There's the Pu-Jie bakery and the Lai Yi Wan beef noodle soup place. If you look them up on Google Maps, there are plenty of highly-rated spots, which is great!"

"I stayed in this hotel in this April, which is a wonderful experience. Thus, I brought my family (total 4) to stay in this hotel again. Unfortunately, the experience of this time is not pleasant. First of all, as i m the IHG member, I am entitled to have welcome drink. Last time, we can drink in the lobby lounge, but this time, the waitress declined us to take the drink at the lounge and requested us to take away the drinks. Whats ridiculous?! The welcome drink is offered by the hotel, but i m not wrlcome to drink at the lounge. Secondly, the cleaning service is not pleasant, two cups in my room have not been cleaned. Thirdly, the food serving of beef soup is very unsatisfactory. I don't understand why I requested to have more soup and got a black face from the chef. I spent over US$600 for two nights, but seems not be welcomed from the lounge nor restaurant. I would not recommend others to stay in this luxury but not welcome hotel"

"The room was spacious with places to put our luggages. The bed was oddly off centered but that created space for the luggage :) There were international electrical sockets so I didnt have to use my adaptor. The toilet has an odd configuration. Instead of a shower curtain, u get a "toilet seat curtain" that u are supposed to pull to keep it dry when showering (water still gets splashed on it if it is not pulled well). The most inconvenient part of the room was the lack of a dry area to wear clothes after showering. Water pressure and temperature are great. Location wise, the hotel is very near the western market, shen nong street. We were also able to walk back from the Tainan TRA station when the buses had ended at night. There is a free shuttle bus to the THSR Tainan station which stops about 3mins walk from the hotel. We only discovered this on check out, so good to enquire with the hotel before checking in. The staff were generally friendly, when asked, they gave some suggestions about where to eat nearby. They look slightly unsure, possibly because it was ***** new year period. They were also helpful in booking taxi, massage and sending up additional clothes hangers. I did converse in mandarin though. We can get bedroom slippers and bottled water for free at the lobby, so that was very nice."
