The rooftop white terrace offered stunning views and was lush with greenery—perfect for taking photos. The service was also very attentive. The breakfast was simple but of excellent quality. If the Wi-Fi speed is slow, you can easily switch to another network. This was the best value hotel I booked in Bolivia."

"Amazing B&B right in the heart of Sucre while feeling like a private little oasis. Carmen is a wonderful hosts and goes out of her way to ensure that your stay in Sucre is as special as possible. Lovely breakfast served in a beautiful courtyard/garden area. I spent a wonderful day reading in the garden on the deck chairs. Wonderful place to relax and recover after visiting the salt flats before heading towards la Paz and Lake Titicaca. Sucre is beautiful and you would be missing out to stay anywhere else while you are here!"

"Villa Antigua is very nice hotel located in the centre of Sucre. Built in the 18-sixties as a mansion, it was completely renovated in 2009. The hotel offers 21 rooms over 3 floors, and has a garden, a nice patio, a large top floor terracce, a gym & steambath, a breakfast restaurant, and a charming café. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was adequately furnished & decorated, with table & chair, TV & fridge, a high ceiling, wardrobe & safe, and a good queensize doublebed. We had a separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin & shower over the bath. The large window opens into the patio but has no mosquito screen. All was very clean. The buffet breakfast is good: bread, rolls & toast, ham & cheese, eggs made to order, butter & marmalade, fruit & juice, cereals, yoghurt & mineral water, tea & coffee. We found Vila Antigua comfortable and very quiet and we had a good stay. Good value-for-money. Highly recommended."

"This is simply one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Airy, sunny rooms cooled by gentle breezes high above the city. Quiet private accommodations within a large well landscaped walled compound. Easily within walking distance of this delightful world heritage city. This is the epitome of a small boutique B & B. The hosts are lifetime sucre residents who make sure their guests are well cared for. Don’t hesitate to book this one. We spent 5 nights here and wish it had been longer!"

Together with the salt hotel, it was the most beautiful place we stayed at in Bolivia. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was excellent. "Pros: Stor beliggenhed, alle de vigtigste attraktioner er omkring en 10-15 minutters gang Delicious og omfattende morgenmad med nogle bolivianske specialiteter (forsvind ikke den purpurbærme og udsigt fra spisestuen) Meget komfortabel seng WiFi fungerede godt Cons: Morgenmadstimerne er lidt forvirrende, forreste skrivebord og tegn på døren siger 7:30 er, men dørene er åbne meget tidligere med gæster lavet ved starttidspunktet. Vi havde en tidlig start for en dagrejse, så vi bad om tidlig morgenmad, vi fik en grundlæggende morgenmad i vores værelse den nat før.Vi satte pris på morgenmad i værelset, men den siddende morgenmad var langt bedre."
