"On Father's Day, I traveled from Paris Gare de l'Est to a small border town, a two-hour journey. The town center is within walking distance of the train station. The spa features a jacuzzi, steam room, and dry sauna. The modern shower facilities before entering the pool were impressive, and the experience of alternating between torrential rain and light drizzle was quite interesting. They upgraded us to have a view of the canal, allowing us to see the waiting time before the boats boarded the stairs. The room was very large, including the foyer. The bed, although double, felt like a king-size bed. There was also a sofa bed. Getting an Uber required walking two blocks to reach a taxi. Most attractions are within walking distance. We took a taxi to the EU area, but since it was closed on Sundays, we checked it out on Saturday. At night, the centrally located hotel was bustling with travelers chatting late into the night. The hotel's own bar was right by the river, very lively."

"This is a lovely hotel to located in a very nice valley. The place is very different to the real city and is very quiet and has a very nice character to it in the valley makes it look so peaceful and green and really nice birds in the head in the morning. I just love the location of this hotel. The hotel itself is very well maintained seems very nice and clean and New the beds are soft and lovely toilets are clean. Breakfast room is very well laid out. As for the breakfast I think the selection is varied you got cause you got milk and cereal and then you got the meat guts and gherkins et cetera and then bought a fruit layout with yoghurt et cetera coffees are there for scrambled eggs and ham well I am a vegetarian and I did miss some baked beans or hashbrowns which were not there. I think they could improve by including some vegetarian stuff or vegan stuff. overall I loved it. The staff at the Reception was friendly and nice good parking as well."

"There is an elevator, the room is very spacious, and the quality is excellent!! However, there is a separate sub-building in addition to the main building, and if you are assigned a room in the sub-building, it was a bit inconvenient having to pass through two doors. Nevertheless, it was great to stay there as two 28-inch suitcases could be fully opened and there was even a table. I bought bottled beer at the accommodation in the evening, and they even provided complimentary snacks like the pain au chocolat and popcorn that were served at breakfast. The reception service is top-notch, as they quickly gave me an extra key even though I left it behind!"

It would help if the staff posted notices on the doors of the rooms to please close the doors quietly - most of the guests slammed them and the place echoes,"

Everything is remarkably well thought-out from the decor in the cozy rooms to the incredible creativity in the menus. Furnishings are high quality, linens are luxurious, and the entire property is just dripping in character to make the experience magic. If you're not staying at the hotel, definitely visit the restaurant and bar. Cocktails are inventive and delicious from these soon-to-be world-famous mixologists. From the basic breakfast to the sumptuous dinner menu everything is expertly prepared. The intimate dining room or even the patio with the [secret?] palm tree are absolutely lovely locations to dine.
