From the quality coffee and hot chocolate pouches to the sparkling and still water provided, everything was thoughtful and spotless. • The house itself, a stately manor dating back to the 1800s, is full of character and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Rachel's Farm Luxury Escapes with Hot Tubs

"We booked a property back in August 2025 in Musselburgh for the marathon weekend, we paid in full at the beginning of March 2026, less than 3 weeks before our arrival the booking was cancelled by Rachel’s Farm for, apparently, essential roof works, causing a lot of upset and stress trying to find another property for 10 people. The responses from Rachel’s Farm were rude with no compassion for the situation they had left us in. The rude messages continued with no empathy at all. When we were in Musselburgh at the weekend we spoke to a family staying at the property, they had been booked in due to being double booked at another property near by several weeks ago, they were booked in several weeks before our cancellation. They were unaware of any roof works being done. Please be cautious when booking with this company. Their properties do look amazing sadly we didn’t get chance to experience them."

"Terrible place. Smells of fried food and strong mildew. We saw dirty cups, a disgusting shower, tired furniture. “Breakfast” was delivered in a plastic grocery bag. We spent 5 minutes and left. I would choose to sleep in a tent over this place 100% of the time."
