"Beautiful historic property in a great location, walking distance to town, penguin viewing platform and The Nut. Check in was easy with detailed instructions left with the key. Our room was very nice, cosy and clean and decorated lovely. There is also a lovely guest lounge where you can relax and read about the history of the house. This is a guest house so you can hear the other guests moving around if you are a light sleeper. The lovely short bread biscuits provided with tea and coffee facilities in room was greatly appreciated. Loved it and wished we could have stayed longer!"

"Easy check-in and out process. They provided an email option for contact, I requested a late check-in, and got a reply within around 1.5 hours. I very much appreciate it, as most accommodations only accept calls, which can be quite difficult for tourists without a local number. The place is quiet and peaceful, and the view of the nut was great. There are sufficient essential cooking amenities (pot, pan, microwave, stove, fridge etc) in the room too. However, we booked for seaview, but it was actually half blocked by a roof in front of us, which we were very disappointed. The window net was not intact, and the roller blind was difficult to stay open (spoiled?) too, hence it was quite noisy at night due to strong wind, which affected my sleep."

"The last-minute reservation was a surprise. I got a sea view room from a distance, and there were seagulls everywhere. The seafood restaurant Hursey was right outside the door. The view was really amazing. However, I had to go to another hotel in the town to check in and out. I had to look for it. The service staff was very nice but unprofessional and I had to go through a lot of trouble. highly recommended"

"The accommodation is beyond great, it is fabulous and just as good as our own home. So comfortable and everything has been thought of. Ease of access, parking, heating (if required), very comfortable bed, wonderful garden and sitting area. Couldn’t ask for more. The owners are a couple devoted to superb service and excellence. Such a change from the usual large hotel chain accommodation which at best is average. If you visit Stanley, there is only one place to stay as far as I am concerned. The Ship Inn."

"Jeg bookede motel til os to, kan ikke booke kabinen, for stor.Vi troede, der ville være en kokke til motel, fordi det sagde, der omfattede køkkenudstyr, men nej.Kun mikrobølge og køleskab.Fryseren var virkelig smuttet. Heldigvis er den fælles køkken ikke langt, men de fleste af potterne og pandene er virkelig dårlige i stand.Vær forsigtig med at bruge rustfrit stål pot, det vil brænde din mad let.
