"very low level service. no cleanliness during 6 days. no toilet towel change for a week. nobody at the bar most of the time and the smile from personnel were option free. one day with no one for breakfast and have therefore to wait till 9h30 to get a poor cup of coffee. otherwise good atmosphere and location. noise level from wave can be disturbing but globally acceptable. the boss was the nicest personn but had to leave the hotel for a week......maybe the reason why ???"

"Great stay at Caribbean Diamond hotel. Nice quiet area off the beaten path. About a 15-20 minute walk to downtown Sosua. All the staff are great the pool is nice and very clean. Rooms are nice. A little dated may need some work. Food at the hotel is excellent. The hotel is chica friendly. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again highly recommend. "

Hotel Sea Breeze

"Staff was very nice. However, while in the property you will not be able to nap in the middle of the day if that is your thing, it is way to loud since right in front of your window is the main street and lots of motorcycles pass by along with cars with hooked up loud music. if you are going with family you are better off staying in Puerto Plata or Cabarete. Sosua is really a town for men if you know what i mean. In this hotel you will be woken up by noise and talking people by usually 6-7 am. This happens any day/night while i stayed here. This hotel is about 20 mins from Cabarete and 30 from Puerto Plata. For a good night out of dancing i recommend visiting “Ojos” restaurant/club on the water which is located in Cabarete. In Sosua we checked out Santa Fe, it was very nice with good music and multiple pools and great staff and they also had cabanas."
