"The interior of the hotel and food was very good even though the restaurant provides only vegetarian food. I have not assigned excellent rating as found few cockroaches inside rooms which got taken care of by the hotel staff. . The hotel is located in a very prominent place and with nice interior and close to all the tourist attractions. The vegetarian restaurant provides excellent food. The staff is cordial and interior is beautiful. What i didn’t like presence of few cockroaches in the room which the staff took care. But, it ruined my otherwise excellent rating downgraded to good. "My partner and I stayed in one of the bungalows in June 2026. We were there with a large group of friends and had an absolute blast. The staff were so considerate and attentive, catering to all of our needs swiftly and efficiently. The assortment of food and drinks allowed us to sample local specialties, that of other Indian regions, and international cuisines. Each meal was a feast. The infinity pool overlooking the tea garden only elevated the relaxation aspect further. Each bungalow had a private patio looking out to the tea gardens and sitting out there with a cup of Merchants of the East tea (and the yummy sweet and savory snacks that change daily) quickly became a morning ritual. We look forward to returning once the spa expansion is complete!"

"Located in Tezpur and on the highway. Staff were good & premises were clean. Breakfast was amazing and food options are good. Appreciate about the rain cover/ canopy in the side entrance, expect the same in front area, too. It would be nice, if they have lift and use some room fresheners in the corridor/staircase area as it closer to the kitchen. Hope, kitchen utensil sounds & staff chat to be nominal in that area. Washroom was spacious but the commode position is in the corner, which made problem for comfortable posture."

"Vi havde booket den en dag før, og da vi ankom, oplyste receptionisten os, at de ikke havde noget værelse ledigt i deres hotel.De har andre hoteller, og de kan flytte os der.Og det skete, da vi nåede om natten kl. 9.00 Men i eftermiddag, da vi forsøgte at bekræfte vores booking, informerede ingen os om denne situation.De havde 10 forskellige tal, og de fleste af dem var ikke tilgængelige. Et nummer blev kontaktet og fortalte os, at vi får et opkald fra reservationsholdet.Og da reservationspersonalet ringede, sagde de, at det var bekræftet. Efter vi nåede til hotellet, spillede de skyldspillet mellem receptionen og reservationsholdet og var slet ikke nyttige.De sagde, at deres manager havde informeret reservationsholdet fra Delhi (tredjepart) om, at hotellet er fuldt. Og reservationsholdet fortalte os, at de ikke modtog nogen opdateringer fra manageren.Så uprofessionel og så forfærdelig oplevelse. Vi måtte argumentere i omkring en halv time, og så gav de os et værelse, der blev booket af en anden og instrueret den anden fest til at gå til et andet hotel af deres. Vi måtte grundlæggende argumentere for at få vores eget bookede værelse fra hotellerne."
