Mountain View Lodge - 1 Minute from Lukla Airport

"We have stayed in a few hotels in Lukla with this being the best. Arrived after a period of difficult weather conditions and with a unfavourable forecast for the airport, so we were concerned about being able to get flights to Kathmandu and looking at a four day trip to walk & jeep out. But the hotel owner sorted everything for us, managed to get us on the first flight out the morning after arrival, and came with us to the airport to sort all the details - this wouldn't have happened without his help. The hotel was clean and tidy, we had a hot shower in the rooms ensuite and fantastic food, company and conversation with the hotel staff (good English). They also have a very cute and friendly pet dog. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, which will be our go-to next time we are passing through Lukla."

"This tea house sits on a hill that overlooks Namche Bazaar. It is clean and the dinner and breakfast were really good. The rooms have power to charge devices and the linens are clean and include an electrical blanket. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay here."
