"Lovely hostel in beautiful grounds. Fabulous location in Malham. The room was clean, well maintained & reasonably priced. Staff were friendly & efficient. Only pizzas available in the evening which was fine as we only stayed one night, but would be nice to have more choice of food. Thanks for a great stay!"

Ashfield House
"Had a weekend here and had a very relaxing stay, Stephen was very welcoming and so was the girl who served breakfast. The location of Ashfield is superb for Grassington, right in centre, 2 car parks at rear and side. just note if you have a big 4x4 it might be tight squeeze in rear. (you can park in the large national trust car park 5 minutes walk away at £8.50 for 2 nights). Room (6) was cosy and clean, it had character and a garden view. The gardens are really lovely and quite large for the location - we sat in the shade with some wine and relaxed. Breakfast was excellent and great choice for all, beware the main Yorkshire breakfast comes with a lot of food, you can ask for less. That breakfast will set you up for a days walking! Overall cannot fault our stay and time in Grassington. Very welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a Grassington stay and a base to explore the area. Thank you, John and Carloyn."
Premier Inn Skipton North (Gargrave)
"Stayed here for two nights recently. The accommodation was first class as usual as you expect from Premier Inns. Unfortunately the adjoining bar / club house was struggling to serve food unless you had pre booked in advance. Not something you necessarily know or were informed of on your arrival. The bar was not serving draught bitter and it felt a bit cold like it just needed the heating putting on for a bit in the evening. I can't fault the staff as they were great put possibly Premier Inn management should be supporting them better to get the whole clubhouse thing working and a bit more welcoming and available. It's only a short walk to the village to get food or a pub drink and well served by Uber."

The Victoria
"Nice country inn. Narrow, steep stairways a bit of a hassle to maneuver with luggage, but staff was quick to offer help at all times. The room was a comfortable size (important since we got rained out one day while the restaurant/pub were closed !) and nicely decorated. The bathroom is a bit small with a small sink and small shower, but plenty of hot water to warm up after getting caught in the rain. Breakfast was the fully cooked version and delicious - the ingredients all tasted fresh. We had dinner at the on premises pub and it too was delicious. I can imagine that the National Park area must get swarmed in the summer, so this was a nice retreat while still within walking distance of the park (about a mile away) Welcoming hospitality and good beers on tap."

"Ideel beliggenhed for at besøge Skipton og rejse videre til Dales og Lake District.Personalet på receptionen var velkommen og hjælpsomt. Værelset var rent og behageligt, jeg havde valgt et værelse, der kiggede ud på hovedvejen så åbenbart havde lidt støj i løbet af dagen, men om natten var der meget lidt, det holdt mig ikke vågen."

"The Plough Inn was a delightful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless! I had the best nights sleep ever because it’s so nice and quiet. The food was absolutely delicious also, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Parking is free and plentiful. Would love to visit it again. A lovely, cosy Yorkshire dales vibe."

"Lovely location in a very quiet hamlet just off The Dales Way. Room was faultless, spacious and perfectly clean, and the breakfast was great. Interesting hosts as well. Be aware that the local pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, although you can get a lift to the nearest alternative for a donation to to local rescue services."

"Had the pleasure of staying here for a few days. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with all the amenities required for an enjoyable stay, the local scenery and views were amazing as were the hosts. For us it was just perfect and would highly recommend staying here."
