"Great hotel and location, right alongside the canal. Lovely food, breakfast and dinner. Pet friendly made the dog very welcome also,£15 extra for the dog but that was fine. Would reccomend and stay there again."

"The guy working there was amazing (we were the girls with no map and not a lue). He printed us off a map explained where to go for the three peaks challenge and the bestway to do it. I had my dog which they were really friendly and accommodating for. The place was a nice area parking was easy and kitchen area was large and clean"

"Fra det øjeblik, vi ankom til landsbyen var en fornøjelse.Meget velkommen og chat, en ændring fra det, du får i de store hoteller.Lejligheden var ren og meget komfortabel (en lille date, men dette tilføjede til atmosfæren). Nær til alt (by/jernbanestation/butikker), men ikke for travlt.Der blev lavet daglige senge og handsker erstattet.Og alle de små ting blev taget sig af. Jeg tror, det eneste, der mangler, er muligheden for morgenmad, selv om vi ikke havde brug for det, da vi var ved begivenheder fra første gang og blev fodret alligevel.Hvis jeg er i området igen, vil jeg helt sikkert blive igen.En stor stressfri 3-nat."

"Very, very nice country hotel. The accommodation is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Insufficient: 1. The electric kettle is made of plastic rather than stainless steel. 2. We ate three breakfasts, maybe the chef made different breakfast standards are also different: the first day, enough; The second and three days, the amount was halved, my husband ordered a "full set of English breakfast" and I ordered "smoked salmon eggs", "smoked salmon eggs", bread, eggs, salmon from two to one."

Premier Inn Skipton North (Gargrave) ★★★

"A very run down hotel from the outside, loose paving slabs and a large part of the car park fenced off. Room was good and bed comfortable. Food offering was poor. Very very slow service, items not available from the menu (some items still unavailable the following evening) not great quality when it finally arrived. Lots of complaints from other residents. Seemed to be very low on staff, we had booked weeks in advance with a group of around 35 so the team should have been geared up for us but weren't. Large parts of the hotel were devoid of furniture as though the place was going out of business. The staff did their best though. It felt overpriced for the quality (or lack of) the hotel."

"Nice village pub / old coaching inn with rooms. Very comfortable room with all necessary facilities. Nice evening  food and excellent breakfast. Decent range of beers on tap."

Black Horse Hotel ★★★

"Reservations required, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays when they have a reduced staff. Food was very good, with a surprisingly wide menu selection. My wife had fish and chips but I ventured into a salmon and prawn linguine which was very good. Good drink and wine selection- not just beers. Would recommend."
