"We are on our last day at this wonderful little hotel after a 14 night stay. View from the balcony beautiful looking across to Skiathos town. Hotel clean and looked after. All staff friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Vivienne who always has a smile on her face. Walk to the town in about 25-30 mins depending on how fast you walk!! Steep hill from the hotel but then all downhill and flat from there. Lots of places to eat and drink and plenty of boat trips to go on. We went on the ferry to Skopolos and stay overnight in a beautiful apartment over looking the sea, £60 for 4 of us and came back on the ferry the next day, another beautiful island to visit. We will definitely return to Skiathos and this lovely little hotel. Thank you for making our stay memorable."
La Luna Hotel
"What can I say that I haven’t said in my previous reviews of La Luna - it’s a great place to stay in Troulos. Stayed here as a solo guest in July and again in September 2025 (my 7th time here), and had a lovely time as always. Spiros and George, the owners, and Alex and Miltos always make guests feel very welcome and are always very helpful. The breakfasts are excellent, the rooms and views are super, the pool and bar area’s are great and the whole place is spotlessly clean. WiFi is good and BBC news channel on TV. Located on a hill, but there are lifts to upper areas of the hotel/apartments. Very peaceful, music from bar not noisy. A walk of about 10 minutes to numerous restaurants in Troulos. If you want more details please see my earlier reviews. I’m confident you’ll have a great time if you stay at La luna, many guests returning year after year. I have already booked to go again in September 2026."

A pity there is no bar in pool area but saves you money overall for the drinks kept in your fridges! Will definately be staying again. Skiathos is a beautiful place with beautiful beaches."

"Wonderful hotel with stunning views overlooking the bay and with the best access to three beaches. Big Banana beach in front of the main hotel and Small Banana beach (the official nudist beach on the island) and Koukanaries beach where the water taxi can be found to take you into town. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped, the breakfast is to die for, so many options. The staff are lovely and there are several restaurants in and around the hotel. The Greek people are lovely and the service is absolutely great. Relaxing environment. Buggy rides to take you down to the beach and bring you back again as well as drinks on the beach and some very comfy sunbeds which are top quality. All in all our favourite hotel and our favourite beaches. Especially Small Banana (Black Swan area of Elivi) which is a quiet and relaxed beach full of really nice people, mostly nude but some clothed. Great service, great location and everything you could possibly need."

"Anamar er i en stor beliggenhed, en 20-minut walk into town (all downhill) forbi nogle fantastiske lufthavnslandinger!Der er masser af taxier til rådighed til en meget rimelig pris for at få dig hjem.Hotelpersonalet er smuk, meget venlig og hjælpsom! Typisk græsk morgenmad (ham, ost, yoghurt, græskar) var tilgængelig, masser af at vælge fra.Hotellet selv er lidt dateret, men meget ren og alt i vores værelse/på poolen arbejdede godt. Overordnet var det en fantastisk oplevelse, og vi ville helt sikkert være tilbage 😁"

"What a stay!!! Wonderful place. Every single member of staff made our stay amazing, but a special thank you has to go out to Lambros and Dimitra, who looked after us down on the beach. They were friendly, helpful and efficient and worked so so hard everyday in the heat. And they did it all with a smile!!!! The hotel itself is great. Nice spacious rooms. We had a garden room and probably one of the only rooms with a poor view, but we spent very little time in there. The sea view rooms would be worth paying extra for if you wanted to chill on the balcony, but we liked to stay later round the pool or beach. Beach was very quiet and peaceful and clean. Always a bed, but the ones on the front were always "reserved" by 8! There is a sign asking people not to do this and I can imagine the hassle and aggro it would cause if this rule was enforced. Only negative is the food. Lunch menu was spot on and really good value and I really liked the breakfast. We all did! Service at breakfast was also really spot on! We ate in the evening a couple of times, and the food did take a while to come out and was okay, but could be better. I think a lot of people go into town for dinner, but on one night there was a storm, so all the tables were full. I will eat pretty much anything, so I can't mark the restaurant down for this, but I know how fussy others can be, so this is purely some constructive feedback. I would return!!!! In a heartbeat! But for longer. 7 days was just not enough for me."

"Vi er lige vendt tilbage efter en dejlig afslappet uge, heldigvis også en solskinsuge.Dette hotel er det smukkeste hotel, vi har boet i Skiathos.( vores syvende besøg på øen) smukke områder direkte på stranden. Personale alle fantastiske, venlige og hjælpsomme & smilende.Vi havde et haveværelse, der var meget komfortabel & så tæt på pool og strand, så meget bekvem. Pool var en dejlig størrelse, meget ren (hver dag arbejdede poolmanden hårdt at rense det til en høj standard) Det havde et dejligt børneområde bag en væg, der var en dejlig touch.Solbed 8217s var så komfortabel & masser af friske rene håndklæder. Kun negativ for mig personligt var det ikke åben, før 9.00 hvilket var en skam, da jeg kunne lide en tidlig svømning.Badeværelsespersonalet var så venligt og mad var lækker, med en dejlig variation på menuen. (Grækensk pizza & græsk salat anbefales højt) Breakfast var en dejlig oplevelse, råbte til omeletten mand hans omeletter var lækker.Og al maden var meget dejlig og en dejlig sort. Stor beliggenhed, hotel lige på stranden, med masser af solskin.Strand var fantastisk.Hotellet var en god position for restauranter, så mange at vælge fra.Men også busstoppe 16 at komme rundt om øen. (20 minutter til Skiathos by, €2.20) Vi havde en vidunderlig afslappet uge.Og ville helt sikkert vende tilbage!!!!Kun negative for os følte vi, at det behøvede mere opmærksomhed for en dejlig bar i aften, for en drink efter du har været ude for en måltid. Det var så stille, men har alle faciliteter til at lave en smuk bar med dejlig atmosfære og det føles som et spild ikke at tilskynde til dette.Tak for en smuk ferie."

"Boede i dette søde hotel Cape Kanivista i Skiathos Grækenland.Kunne ikke fejle det personale så venligt og hjælpsomt.Værelser søde med udsigt.2 søde pools jeg har allergier med Gluten & Milk nævnte det, da jeg ankom. Hun tog til morgenmad næste morgen den smukke dame, der hed Anna & Lucas, og det smukke par forsynede mig med min egen kurv af glutenfri korn og brød. Hun bragte også min mælk fri for mig hver morgen. Morgenmaden var lækkert koldt kød, frugt, yoghurt.Hot breakfast æg bacon osv. Vi havde nogle måltider i aftenens store menu, jeg ville anbefale at spise der smukke udsigter.😀"

"We stayed at Mystery Skiathos in August and had a wonderful experience. Even during the busiest month, the hotel felt calm, elegant, and very well organised. The pool and lounge areas were beautifully designed and always relaxing, with comfortable sunbeds and a great atmosphere throughout the day. The hotel never felt overcrowded, which we really appreciated. The restaurant was excellent, offering high-quality food and lovely presentation. Every meal was enjoyable, and dining there became part of what made our stay so special. Our room was stylish and very comfortable, and the hot tub on the balcony was perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Skiathos. Overall, Mystery Skiathos offers luxury, privacy, and relaxation even in peak season. We would happily recommend it and would love to return in the future."

"Stayed here for 12 nights with my husband.. lovely apartments with great maid service every day . Beds are comfortable and spotless.. the pool area is nice with towels provided and a bar area serving cold beers and drinks and snacks .. breakfast is plentiful.. the usual cereal , yogurt, fruit , cakes , croissants etc .. hot food like eggs .. little sausages, local bacon etc .. hot water for tea .. and coffee which does sadly get cold quickly.. cappuccino and latte coffees available to purchase. The steep hill from the port and town is a killer .. you have to get a taxi back .. you can walk down but back is hard .. the staff are wonderful.. can’t do enough for you.. and the housekeeper lady is so good ., cleaned our room every single day. I think if we came back to skiathos we would probably stay closer to the town .. otherwise we would definitely stay here again."

"My daughter and I had a fabulous 5 days at Hotel Rene. Took a taxi from the airport for EUR15 and was sipping a cool glass of wine in the hotel bar with lovely views within 45 minutes of landing. The hotel manager was extremely welcoming and friendly, both on arrival and any time we saw him. The hotel offers a lovely clean and refreshing pool and comfortable sun loungers, which surprisingly did not get reserved before breakfast. There is no music played around the pool, which we usually enjoy, but this did make it very peaceful. There is an honesty box for the purchase of drinks, water, ice cubes etc outside of hours which was really helpful. Room was cleaned and linens changed daily and beds were comfortable, although pillows a little hard. The location is excellent - a short walk downhill to bus stop 4, 15 mins walk into town and 5-10 mins to the beach (add an extra 5 for walking back uphill, but compared to other places the hills were not half as bad as feared). On departure, there is an ample shower room with hairdryer etc to change before leaving as well as luggage storage and the possibility to hire a pool towel for 1 euro so no need to carry home wet towels. Thanks for a great stay."

"We stayed for 1 week in September in a junior suite with sea view. Our suite was not the biggest one in this category but the view was fantastic. Bed was nice, breakfast was really good with lots of choices. This is one of the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Being in southern Europe and not even seeing any ants is remarkable. The staff was all wonderful but I would specially like to mention Anastasia in reception, which was always smiling and so very helpful. We had the hotel pick us up from the airport and when we left we had them order us a taxi. Both these options I can recommend. This hotel has lot of stairs so not for those that do not like to clime the stairs. You could of course also take the elevator but then you might have to take 2 different ones. There is a lot of really nice taverns within 5 minutes walking and everyone that we tried had excellent food. We spent our days at the beach but the pool area also looked nice."

"Rooms are average nothing special , view from room was awful, overlooked a storage area for building products some type of dumping site for building materials. This is the only hotel I have been in that felt it had no ambiance . The drinks from the bar were extremely expensive , therefore hardly anyone stayed in the hotel bar in the evening. The staff were very attentive and the best thing about this hotel. I’m sorry but I will not be returning here."
Villa Christina
"Spent a week in July with my 2 adult daughters. The hotel is lovely very small and peaceful with a gorgeous warm pool set in well kept gardens and surrounded by pine clad hills. There is a great bar and food is served throughout the day by the pool. Menu is limited but good, home cooked to order by the fabulous Elena! We were greeted at the gate and shown to our room where everything was explained to us. The room itself was basic but very clean. We had a suite which had a double bedroom bathroom and a separate lounge area with sofa bed and camp bed. Unfortunately the lounge had no air con or windows so was too hot to sleep in. Consequently we had to move the camp bed into the bedroom where the air conditioning unit was and all 3 of us had to share room , bit cramped but we managed not a problem for us but maybe an issue for other parties of 3 or more? Villa Christina is quite isolated, about 15 minute walk down hill to main road, bus stop and a few restaurants and supermarket. The walk down is very pleasant but not so good back up in the heat. The walk down to the beach is not far but the path is very steep and rough and frankly not worth it as very small crowded and noisy. In the evening we walked down and got bus to Skiathos town which is very pretty , interesting and busy, then got taxi back. Second half of week we hired car and explored this beautiful island and gorgeous beaches We had a fantastic week here and would thoroughly recommend if you want peace and quiet but definitely not for anyone wanting anything lively or those who have difficulty walking."

"Dette sted er godt, hvis du leder efter en fantastisk udsigt over byen uden at være for langt væk.Ejerene er super venlige og meget hjælpsomme. De gav os gratis bådbillet til Tsougrias Beach (en skal se!) og hjalp os med taxier, restaurantanbefalinger osv. Hvis vi nogensinde kommer tilbage til Skiathos, ville vi helt sikkert blive her igen!"
Eye Q Resort
"Seeing the many positive reviews we expected much more. It is a resort with good potential (the view from above is beautiful and the fact that it is surrounded by nature), but unfortunately it is poorly maintained. The furniture is old, the beds are hard and uncomfortable (the sofa bed does not have a mattress), the pillows are flimsy. The kitchenette is tiny: there is only one camping stove and there were no utensils for 4 people (only two large forks, only three chairs for the table, etc...). After booking we were offered an upgrade to be more comfortable for 4 people and we refused since the price would have increased further, but I believe that the owner himself is aware that our solution is not suitable for 4 people so it shouldn't even propose it on the site and then ask if you want to upgrade by paying more. Unfortunately, the worst thing is the bathroom which is tiny, furthermore the door of the shower cubicle is broken and water and foam comes out of the drain in the bathroom every time you take a shower causing flooding. The outdoor garden is beautiful but poorly maintained and unkempt, so ants, bedbugs, geckos etc... often entered the room despite the mosquito net. The whirlpool and sauna sponsored on the site are out of order: the sauna is not in operation while the whirlpool contained stagnant water. Positive notes are the cleaning which is done daily and the change of sheets and towels every three days and the owner Stavros who picks you up at the airport, the outward journey is free while for the return we had to pay a total of €15 for four people . In conclusion, much more could be done, certainly in Italy it would never be considered a three-star hotel, but seeing the offers on the island even in Greece it is not valid in terms of value for money."
