Poseidon Hotel Sea Resort

"Wonderful stay in a very good hotel. The hotel is located by the beach. If someone wants, part of the beach has a bar and free sun loungers. A bit further away there is a beach without sun loungers where you can count on peace and quiet. Not far from the hotel there are beaches such as Aretes where you can enjoy the silence and freedom. The bar and drinks are very good, the food is excellent. Varied and delicious. The waitstaff was always smiling, very polite and helpful. Daily room cleaning. The apartment was clean and nice, consisting of a living room and a bedroom. The animations were interesting. It's hard to find a better hotel. We are very grateful to the entire hotel staff for the wonderful stay. We will be back here."

"Overall a good hotel. Quite small not overcrowded. We stayed at the end of the season so not too many guests. Room was perfectly adequate, clean with good air conditioning. The pool was great with lots of loungers and parasols. Well situated in Nikiti within 8 minutes walk to the beach or supermarkets. All the staff were very friendly and were always smiling. We arrived late in the evening but we're welcomed with a drink and a smile. Just one or two small issues. The drinks at the bar are VERY expensive compared to the bars at the beach (twice the price). The coffee from the machine at breakfast is not pleasant. We took to getting a takeaway coffee from the local bakery and bringing it back to the hotel. On our last day the server at breakfast asked why we did this. I explained that the coffee from the machine was not very nice. She said I could have a coffee made at the bar. This however is charged at 4.50 Euro, where the takeaway coffee was 2.50 Euro. Breakfast is adequate with lots of choice. Lots of free carparking"

"Ekies is a wonderful resort that can leave noone dissapointed. It is the perfect combination of elegance , still with a laid back atmosphere. The rooms and suites are all very spacious . The hotel taverna is beautiful, located next to the small beach, and do not miss out the a la carte restuarant Bubo! Amazing food. I really liked the sunbeds out on the deck, where you can get get some quiet time if the beach gets a bit to noisy. ( It is a childfriendly resort). It is the perfect resort for families, and if you want to have a little bit of peace and quiet with less children you should choose to go here spring or early autumn. September was perfect for us! :-) "

"This hotel is... shall we say... rather interesting. First, the location is fantastic and beach is beautiful. The grounds are very nice, and staff were friendly. However, while it appears some updates have been done, the rooms are not really up to par -- nothing huge, but a lot of little annoyances or things that are just odd. The included dinner was okay, though not on par with most of the other places we stayed in Greece. My traveling companion is from the US and lives in Romania -- apparently this hotel is very much an older Eastern European style of resort which is popular with the older generations from that part of the continent. For US or western European tourists, I would not recommend staying here as the experience isn't really geared to our expectations. "

"Everything is very well organized. I stayed in this hotel with my family and friends. Very good accommodation, clean, spacious and well-kept. I stayed in an apartment with a very generous terrace overlooking the sea. Very good restaurant, not cheap, but very good food. The breakfast is also very good and varied, and the terrace where it is served offers you a particularly beautiful atmosphere"
