"There were so many ants in the room, especially all over the sink. No breakfast was included, so we had to go out and find food, which was quite inconvenient. The room only had bedside lamps, and the brightest light was in the bathroom 🤣. The shower pressure was also very low. The only good thing was the view."

"I like samosir…the view so nice..the staff also good.. We arrive at Somosir Villa at 7:30pm…our car’s window unable to close.. then we ask the staff where we can find workshop to fix this issue.. then the staff said workshop close at night but he offer to help monitor our car.. he shows the cctv around the area and convince us not to worry..at the night around 2pm, the rain coming.. heavy rain.. i woke up and look at our car..i saw the staff already put plastic to cover window from rainning…thanks god they have responsible staff like this.. unfortunately i forget asking his name.."

"I had a wonderful stay at Matraville; Dim was super helpful and friendly, picking me up and dropping me off for my ferries to and from the island, and arranging a private tour of the island for me at short notice, along with advising me with travel options back to Medan airport and then booking my chosen one. It's clear he really cares about his guests having a good stay! The homestay itself is also lovely, with an excellent view from the balcony, and ambient lighting for the winding down to sleep. It's also only a short walk to very good bars and restaurants (5-15mins depending on your selection), with a good place for breakfast just next door. Would definitely recommend and return!"

"This hotel is really cool! We truly appreciate the staff member named Bayu. He was incredibly helpful and worked very hard to make our stay more comfortable. Mas Bayu assisted us a lot during our time there, even though there was a Sumatra-wide blackout during our stay. Despite that, the staff remained professional, and we felt prioritized. The breakfast was also delicious and varied, with traditional Indonesian wet cakes (kue basah), dadar gulung, wajik, chocolate sprinkles, Coco Crunch, and green bean porridge. It was all tasty and comprehensive for a 3-star hotel. There are two swimming pools, and I really liked that the adult pool was quite deep and separate from the kids' pool, making it better for proper swimming. There's also a gazebo at the back with a direct view of Lake Toba – the view is stunning! During check-in, they were very kind and allowed us to request a room change to the ground floor because my mom uses a wheelchair. There are many halal restaurants around the hotel and also a mini-market. Overall, Toba Village Inn is great! We really enjoyed our 3-night stay there. Thank you! Highly recommended!!"

"The hotel doesn't have TVs in all the rooms, the hot water doesn't turn on in the morning, and the water is already fully turned on. It doesn't even feel hot, it's still cold. No free wifi and no water heater. The view is bad, you can't see Lake Toba directly, but you can only see trees and swamps that haven't been cleaned. Anyway, it's not recommended."

WiFi kun i restaurantområdet, men også en stor måde at møde andre rejsende på.Generelt anbefaler vi bestemt stedet."
