"A group of 12 stayed at the Amendoeira Golf Resort from 7th to 10th October 2025. We played the Faldo course, which, despite the slow play, was excellent. On completion of our round each fourball went to the bar, where we ordered and paid for drinks in groups of four. This continued through into the restaurant where we ordered our dinner, each fourball ordered and paid for drinks separately to the food. However when the food bill arrived it included drinks that had not been ordered along with the food (this was in the region of €45). I asked to speak to the manager and explained that we had not ordered any drinks with our food and that all drinks were purchased at the time of ordering in three groups of four. The manager refused to listen to me and said if the drinks were on the bill it had to be paid. I asked if the staff member who had served us the drinks could be identified but she refused to interact, insisting that if the drinks were on the bill they had to be paid for. We did not wish to cause any trouble and advised the manager that we would pay the additional €45, but that we had intended to stay in the bar for the rest of the night and also planned to be there the following day for drinks and food. However due to her attitude and intransigence we were going to drink up, leave and would not be making any further purchases at the resort, which was exactly what we did. It was disappointing that the restaurant staff were so amateur in performing their duties and that the manager was not prepared to listen to their customers, who had a legitimate grievance. Very disappointed and will not be returning to Amendoeira Golf Resort."

"This was a perfect hotel for the long weekend break I needed. A small quiet town, fantastic setting (old converted olive grove), exceptional service, tranquil, and an amazing breakfast each day. Yes, there were areas where a little spruce up could be done, but this just added to the quaintness of the place. Loved it. It will be my first choice for a short chill break in the sun in the future."

"Min datter og jeg havde en fantastisk tid på denne ejendom.Fra det øjeblik, vi ankom til det øjeblik, vi forlod, var alt perfekt!Billederne gør det ikke retfærdighed.Omgivelserne er så smukke, og ejendommen er meget ren og velbevaret. Poolen er den perfekte størrelse og ser ud til en smuk orange orchard.Vores værelse var pænt og hyggeligt, og vi elskede, hvordan det åbnede sig på terrassen. Layoutet for en B&B er perfekt, da de fleste værelser tilbage direkte til terrassen, så du behøver ikke at gå gennem et hus for at gå ud. Beliggenheden er ideel for dem, der ønsker at være i det afslappende og rolige landskab, men en tæt nok kørsel (30 minutter) til strandene på kysten.Frueudvælgelsen var en god sort, og meget lækker. Vi havde endda frokost og middag i ejendommen, mad var meget smagfuld og velpris - 20 euro for tre kurser og en drikkevare.Desuden var personalet ude af stand til at rumme, især Daniel og Andre, som var så venlige og hjælpsomme. Vi var så sure på at forlade, og ønskede vi kunne have været her længere."
