Because I was going to Cluj the next day, and it was snowing that day, the front desk staff kindly helped me check bus schedules and book tickets for me."

"May 17th John Powell called and confirmed a room for myself and he said he talked to the manager, booking for 5 days. He called again 10 minutes before I arrived to confirm and was told it was set. I was there for a funeral. When I got there, the lady at the desk was more than pleasant and actually should be the manager, told me she couldn't find me listed. I had John call to confirm we had the right place. I was standing right there. She called the manager and he said he would take care of it when he came in. He was not a nice person. John said he talked to the manager to book it. So it would have been him. He said he checked and there was no booking and the woman that answered the phone earlier was mistaken. I said ok, well we will wait til one was available then. He said NO, we are booked up. If he was a responsible manager he would have said let me find you another room in the area. But he just brushed me off. Rude I went to another hotel, hearing what Best Western did, gave me a room immediately and discounted."

"Det tager 15-25 minutter til restauranter i Old Town ved at gå.Parkering foran hotellet.Det er forbundet til en restaurant, der er så bekvemt at have en drink på ethvert tidspunkt.Værelserne er godt størrelse, morgenmad fint.Taxi kommer hurtigt. Frontbordet kunne ikke være nyttigt at sikre en privat chauffør, men det kan bare være byens natur."

Lift to the floor or stairs close by. Could not fault. Owner sent code for doors. Felt secure and good air con. Large powerful shower, wet room."

Alexandra and Denisa at reception were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. We also want to recognize Giorgiana and Mariana from housekeeping, who kept our room spotless and paid attention to every detail. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and the entire hotel felt welcoming and well cared for. Between the outstanding hospitality, comfortable rooms, and ideal location, Hotel Republique exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sibiu."
